"Come on Linnea, it's just a picture" Pansy pulled Linnea off of the couch as she groaned and whined about being too lazy to get up. The family of six gathered around a love seat where the oldest two sat beside each other with their hands linked and the oldest two stood behind them proudly, Indigo was standing behind his mother with his hand on her shoulder fixing her hair every few seconds while Violet stood behind her father with one of her hands on his shoulder and the other holding a picture frame with a picture of a newborn baby on it, Jasmine, they have included her in every Christmas picture, Pansy and Linnea sat on the floor in front of their parents and smiled at the camera before in flashed just in time after they sat perfectly almost missing because of their youngest.

"I see you still have this ridiculous tradition," Andrew Davies said as he walked into the room with his cup of tea in hand. Peter sighed his smile turning into a frown the second his eyes met his father's angry ones, Emily knew that this Christmas will be ruined like the other ones when he visits.

"I see you're still wearing that ridiculous shirt," Violet said back glaring at her grandfather who scowled at her but he let it go very fast much to their surprise.

"Ah, my favorite grandchild knows how to speak," He said fake chuckling. Violet's eyes widened along with Indigo's who was trying hard not to laugh at her comment then on her face.

"When did I become your favorite?" Violet asked shocked as her mother got up and walked over to the closet made out of glass they had in the living room and pulled out two whiskey glasses before crouching down and pulled out a whiskey bottle opening it filling the two cups before walking back over and handing Peter one who immediately took a long sip.

"Since you started dating a prince" Andrew answered sitting down on the singular couch, it has been his since they all could remember, he always sat there so none of them could come over and cuddle him and would only let Indigo on his lap on special occasions for small amounts of time.

"Of course, you don't have any feelings you almost deceived me" Violet chuckled bitterly rolling her eyes. She walked over to the table and picked up her ringing phone and answered.

"Darling look out your window" Violet smiled when she heard his voice, he never ceased to make her smile even when she's at her lowest. Violet walked over to the window and opened it grinning when she saw him standing there in front of her with a box. She ran to the front door and opened it with a huge grin, she thought when they met up the day before it would be their last meeting before he gets deployed soon.

Violet ran over to him and hugged him tightly making him chuckle, the mere thought of not seeing him for a while made her go crazy and now that she saw him only a day later she couldn't help but feel like they had been apart for years.

"You saw me yesterday" Nicholas chuckled pulling away from her, she only shrugged her shoulders and pulled him down for a kiss.

"I got your present" He handed her the small box. Violet grinned opening it to find a bracelet with their initials dangling from it. Violet immediately pulled it out and tried to put it on failing miserably.

"Let me help you Love" Nicholas clasped the bracelet for her. Violet grinned looking down at it for a moment.

"It's beautiful, thank you" Violet pulled Nicholas down again kissing his lips for a moment. She had already given him his present the day before when they were cuddling on his couch watching a movie together under at least three blankets and empty cups of hot cocoa were sitting beside them on the coffee table. Nicholas refused to let her go as they stood on her porch holding each other tightly with their foreheads leaning against each other.
