Violet-Chapter-Twenty-Three

"Do you have plans this weekend?" Elena asked as she arranged some papers on Violet's coffee table while she was sitting on the couch in Violet's office. Violet turned from the computer in front of her that she was working on to look at Elena.

"None for now" Violet answered before turning back to the computer just as she recieved a work email from a venue owner saying how delighted he was that Violet and her father's company chose his venue for Violet's father's Christmas collection fashion show next month.

"Then why don't we go on a double date, you, Nicholas, me, and your brother" Elena suggested standing up and placed the papers on Violet's desk beside her computer.

"First of all we got the venue so finish the paperwork and second I have to ask Nik first" Violet answered taking the papers and started signing through them without reading them having full trust in Elena to give her the right ones.

"Try to convince that prince of yours" Elena called as she walked out of the office. Violet rolled her eyes as she finished signing the last paper. She stood up and pulled on her jacket and stuffed her things in her purse before picking up the papers and walking out of the office to where Georgina sat typing furiously on her keyboard.

"Georgy, get those printed and send them to my father" Violet instructed placing the papers on Georgina's desk earning her attention.

"Consider it done ma'am," She said smiling up at Violet. Violet really likes Georgina she has been really helpful when it came to working and she seemed to be more interested in her job than the paycheck.

"Come on Isa" Violet called to the girl on the other side of the corridor and she was dozing off but at the sound of her nickname she jolted up fully awake.

"Had a good nap?" Violet asked teasingly looking at Isabella with a raised eyebrow. Georgina snickered beside Violet but tried to hide it with a cough.

"I wasn't asleep, just resting my eyes," Isabella said back with a glare on her face not sparing either one of the girls.

"Come on" Violet turned around and walked towards the elevator and pressed the button. In seconds the doors opened and Violet stepped inside along with Isabella. Violet waved at Georgina before the doors closed and the elevator started going down.

"Where to ma'am?" Isabella asked pulling out her phone to text the vale to bring the car towards the right exit.

"Main exit and you don't have to come with me, I'm going to Kensington Palace, ask the front desk to call you a taxi home" Violet answered. Isabella typed down on her phone just before the elevator dinged and the doors opened leading to the lobby. Violet was the first to step out and walked over to the desk in the lobby, one of the three girls stood there hanged up the landline, and smiled up at Violet.

"Can you please send this to Indigo?" Violet asked handing the blonde an envelope. The worker took the envelope confused as to why Violet didn't give this to her brother personally in his office a couple of steps away from her own.

"As you wish ma'am" The girl took the envelope and placed it down on her desk. Violet turned around and walked out of the glass doors just as her car came into view. The vale guy hopped out and held the door open to Violet who gave him a small smile.

"Thank you" Violet got in and the guy closed the door and walked off. Violet pulled out of the company gates where some reporters were waiting for her, they've decided to stay out of the gates after her father banned all paparazzi but instead of that driving them away it only made them more persistent and demanding. Violet sighed and ignored them as much as possible as they surrounded her car, she beeped and ignored them keeping in mind that this was their job and after five whole minutes Violet found an opening and pressed down on the gas and drove away.
