"What do you want, grandfather?" Violet asked slightly harsher than usual. She was seriously in no mood to deal with the horrible man that she was cursed to have as a grandfather.

"I need you to find me a plane ticket to Paris," Her grandfather said back in the same tone she used. Violet clenched her fists tightly wanting nothing but to punch his stupid wrinkly face. She hated him with every fiber of her being.

"It's not my job, call a travel agency, I'm not your slave" Violet slammed down her office phone back in its holder. She was shocked that it didn't break from the force of her slam.

"Someone's mad" Violet looked up to see Elena walk into her office with a bag in her hand. The heavenly smell of sushi filled the room making Violet's stomach growled with hunger.

"Grandfather wants me to find him a ticket to Paris" Violet said nodding at Elena to take a seat on one of the couches in her office. The office phone rang again making Violet groan as she picked it up only to be met with her grandfather's screams. Violet pressed down with her finger on the small button ending the call before placing the handle on the table so no one disturbs her ever again that day.

"I don't think that's what got you in a mood," Elena said pulling out the food from the bag and placed them on the table in the middle. Violet walked over and sat down on the floor beside Elena's feet who immediately joined her on the floor.

"Nicholas" Violet muttered taking one of the two plastic plates and pulled it closer to herself with a pair of chopsticks and broke them in half before peeling off the cover and took one of the rolls and popped it in her mouth.

"What did he do? I'm ready to beat his ass prince or not" Elena said strongly dropping her own chopsticks and was about to stand up but Violet pulled her back down to sit down on the floor again.

"He didn't do anything. We had an argument and I know I'm in the wrong and I keep calling him to apologize but he won't answer" Violet explained looking down in shame placing the chopsticks on the table losing her appetite.

"What was the argument about?" Elena asked softly. Elena placed her hand on Violet's shoulder trying to comfort the sad girl beside her.

"Two days ago at my birthday party, I saw him talking to our high school friends Emily and I don't know I just flipped out on him and he was only being polite" Violet ran her fingers through her hair. She has been stressed with work since her father's winter collection will be releasing soon and she has been pity stress eating too which earned her a couple more pounds that she really didn't need now and it all builds up into a huge ball of insecurities.

"Emily? The ugly oaf looking, girl?" Elena asked scrunching up her face in disgust. Elena couldn't attend the birthday party because her nan was in the hospital for a while.

"She changed, she looks like a model now," Violet said looking up at Elena with tears in her eyes. Elena pulled Violet closer letting the other girl rest her head on her chest rubbing her back softly.

"Doesn't matter, even if she was the most beautiful girl Nick would never spare her a glance" Elena said softly running her fingers through Violet's hair.

"How would you know?" Violet asked rubbing her eyes trying to stop the tears from coming out and she was succeeding.

"Because I see the way he looks at you" Elena answered. Violet sat back up and looked at Elena with teary eyes and a small frown on her lips.

"He looks at you like you're his sun, moon, and stars" Elena finished smiling at Violet reaching over and whipped away a stray tear that betrayed Violet and rolled down her rosy cheeks.
