Lee took a deep breath, glancing at Chloe's aunt's house nervously as they pulled up outside. His stomach was swirling with butterflies as he thought about how much Chloe's family meant to her and how important it would be to her to gain their approval of him. He knew that he had to be on his best behaviour in order to make a good impression.

"Don't look so stressed, you'll be fine." Chloe chuckled, watching Lee closely as he nervously picked at the material on his jeans.

"I just want them to like me." he admitted.

"It's really not a big deal, I'm not close to my aunt anyway, I'm closer to Amy and she already likes you." she smiled at him before quickly climbing out of the car.

"I know, but my Mum adores you, so I'm under pressure." he said, smiling slightly as he lifted their suitcases out of the car and handed Chloe her suitcase when he remembered that she liked her own independence.

"She probably doesn't anymore." she said sighing sadly.

"She does Chlo, anyone who knows you understands." he told her. Chloe nodded slowly, glancing at Lee as they walked towards the house and she sensed his body language stiffen. She smiled at him and gently reached out to take his hand, squeezing it gently in an attempt to reassure him. Chloe took a deep breath, suddenly feeling slightly nervous when she remembered how strict and intense her aunt could be. Despite the fact that her opinion on Lee wouldn't change, regardless of her aunt's opinion, she couldn't help but feel slightly nervous about how her aunt was going to treat him. Chloe slowly pulled her keys out of her pocket and silently unlocked the door, trying to ignore the tension that she was feeling. Lee followed Chloe closely as she wandered around the house, frowning to herself when she realised that her aunt was nowhere to be seen. She wandered into the bedroom she'd been sharing with Amy and smiled at Amy when she noticed her laying on her bed reading a book.

"Hey guys." Amy smiled at them.

"Hey, how was the train?" Lee grinned at her as he perched on Chloe's bed.

"Don't be smug." Amy smiled.

"Where's Auntie Gwen?" Chloe asked her.

"She was a bit frantic when she found out she was getting an extra guest, so she rushed out to the supermarket." Amy told them, rolling her eyes. Chloe nodded slowly, glancing around the room, and sighing to herself when she laid eyes on the mountain of gifts from Martin on her counter. She could feel her blood slowly simmering as she thought about his words to her on the phone and how he'd had the audactiy to have a go at her, when he had cheated on her anyway.

"What are you doing?!" Amy exclaimed as she watched Chloe quickly gathering up the gifts and stuffing them into a carrier bag.

"Gathering all of Martin's gifts so that I can take them back to him." Chloe replied shortly.

"Ooh, she's raging." Amy told Lee. He nodded slowly, smiling slightly at Chloe when she locked eyes with him. As soon as she'd gathered up all the gifts, she rummaged in her suitcase and quickly pulled out her makeup bag.

"Why are you staring at me?" Chloe asked Amy as she locked eyes with her in the mirror.

"I've just never seen you so mad before." Amy said.

"I'm not that mad, I'm just determined to prove a point." Chloe told her, as she quickly applied her makeup.

"Are you going to wear something hot?" Amy laughed. Chloe nodded slowly, a small smile playing on the corner of her lips.

"Is this such a good idea, why don't you just stay away from him?" Lee asked, his heart pounding against his chest at the thought of Chloe going to see Martin and him potentially tearing her down again.
