As soon as Steph and Lee left the room, Chloe angrily flung the cushion across the room, desperately trying to find a way to release some of the deep anger that she was feeling. She couldn't believe that he had revealed the name of their baby to someone, especially someone that wasn't even part of their family.

"You need to calm down Chloe." Duncan said gently.

"I'm not being unreasonable though am I?!" she exclaimed, still not quite able to suppress her temper.

"No you're not. He's completely out of line." he agreed.

"We haven't even told Sheila who is her grandmother and he goes and tells her." she said, her voice dripping with disdain as she couldn't even bring herself to say Steph's name.

"It doesn't excuse what he's done, but I do think it genuinely was an accident." he pointed out. Chloe fell silent, her temper flaring again when she heard the sound of hushed voices coming from the kitchen, she couldn't make out what they were saying, but her gut was screaming at her that Steph and Lee were speaking about her.

"He's so loyal to her, it's like he's forgotten about me and the baby." Chloe said, sighing quietly. Her ears pricked up when she heard Steph laughing from the kitchen.

"Oh I remember that when you were at the Pepsi show and you didn't want to get your hair wet walking to the car so you asked to borrow my umbrella!" Steph giggled.

"And then they took a photograph of us and everyone thought you were my girlfriend." he laughed back.

"They are at it again." Chloe muttered sadly.

"I actually want to kick his arse for the way he's treating you." Duncan muttered angrily.

"You shouldn't get involved. You have the band to think about." she pointed out.

"And the tour in January." she added. The two of them fell silent as Steph and Lee walked into the room, each of them carrying a plate of toast.

"Don't worry, we didn't want any." Duncan said sarcastically, glaring at them both as they sat on the sofa.

"Nobody else matters anymore." Chloe muttered under her breath.

"Chloe, I would really like to clear the air. I promise that I will keep it to myself about Freyja's name." Steph piped up nervously. Chloe remained silent, not quite able to bring herself to look at either of them.

"Her name is actually really beautiful." Steph tried.

"It's the norse goddess of love." Lee explained.

"Ironic." Chloe muttered under her breath, so low that only Duncan heard her.

"I assume her middle name is going to be Private?" Duncan teased, chuckling to herself when a small smile appeared on Chloe's lips.

"You're obsessed." she smiled, elbowing him in the ribs.

"I still think it should be her first name, it's just too perfect." Duncan beamed.

"She's Freyja Emilia." Chloe told him.

"After my Mum." she added, her eyes glistening with tears as her thoughts wandered to her mother and how desperately she wanted her around, now more than ever.

"That's really nice." Duncan smiled.

"What about her surname?" Steph asked, glancing between the two of them.

"We haven't really spoken about it have we?" Lee said quietly, turning to face Chloe, his heart breaking a little, like it did every time that he looked at her and he was reminded that she didn't want him around. Chloe shook her head slowly, not really in the mood to talk to him about their baby.
