Lee fidgeted carefully, trying to find a comfortable position as he sat on Chloe's bed, glancing down at Chloe as she stirred in her sleep. He was reminded once again of how beautiful she was as she slept soundly, her back resting against his chest. She mumbled something in her sleep and snuggled her head against his collarbone. Lee softly stroked her hair, still not quite able to comprehend how someone as beautiful and kind hearted as her had fallen in love with someone like him. He knew that he would never be able to fully express how madly in love with her he was, but he knew in his heart that Chloe knew how strong his feelings for her were.
"Chloe!" Amy called as she came bounding into the bedroom. Lee sighed sadly as Chloe jumped, her eyes quickly snapping open.
"Sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep on you." she mumbled sleepily, turning her head to face him.
"I don't have any complaints." he smiled at her, watching closely as she rested the back of her head against his shoulder and relaxed against him, sighing quietly to herself as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Amy piped up as she sat on her bed opposite them.
"It's okay, I didn't intend to fall asleep anyway." Chloe said quietly, feeling a deep sense of relaxation when she felt Lee's soft heartbeat against her back. She smiled to herself when he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, gently resting his chin on her shoulder, the two of them longing to be close to each other, after spending what felt like a lifetime apart.
"You're turning into an old lady that needs afternoon naps." Amy teased. Chloe nodded slowly, her skin tingling as she rested her cheek against Lee's. Chloe glanced at Amy as she fell silent and stared at her lap awkwardly.
"Did you want me for something?" Chloe asked her, suddenly remembering that Amy had been calling her.
"Yeah kinda." Amy said, glancing nervously at Lee.
"Do you want me to give the two of you some time alone to talk?" Lee offered, when he noticed Amy's body language.
"No, it's okay, just don't tell anyone." Amy said. Lee nodded slowly, glancing at Chloe when he felt her body language stiffen nervously.
"Alex has invited me over tonight." Amy announced quietly.
"Who's Alex?" Lee frowned.
"My boyfriend." Amy answered, glancing at the doorway, nervous that her mother would overhear their conversation.
"And since Mum is working tonight, I'm going to sneak over there." she added.
"Is that such a good idea, if she finds out you'll be grounded forever?" Chloe pointed out.
"She won't find out, she doesn't finish work until the morning and I'll just make sure that I'm back here before her." Amy insisted.
"Just don't tell her." she added.
"We're not going to tell her." Chloe told her, smiling slightly when she noticed the excited twinkle in Amy's eyes.
"You're eighteen, you have your own life." Lee agreed.
"Try telling that to my Mum." Amy sighed.
"She wants me to wait until I'm married before I do anything, but that's not what I want." Amy sighed sadly, wishing in her heart that her mum wasn't so strict with her.
"You have to decide for yourself when you are ready, as long as you make sure that you are certain." Chloe told her.
"I am ready, I need to pop my cherry at some point." Amy said quickly, glancing at Lee when he burst out laughing at her words.
