Chloe's cheeks coloured as she walked into the pool room and the four of them turned to face her. She couldn't help but smile at their happy expressions as they stood in the pool together. Chloe sighed to herself as she sat on one of the loungers, gently tucking her legs under her, wincing slightly as she rubbed her sore abdomen.
"Where's Dunc?" she asked them when she suddenly realised that he was nowhere to be seen.
"He popped into the kitchen to fetch us some more drinks." Peter told her. Chloe nodded slowly.
"Aren't you coming in to join us Chloe?" Louise smiled at her.
"No, I'm okay thank you." she replied, her cheeks colouring at the thought of undressing in front of them. Despite the fact that her body confidence was growing she still couldn't bring herself to undress in front of them. Lee was the only person that she'd ever been able to feel fully comfortable with, enough to make herself vulnerable with him.
"We won't be looking at you." Kirstie reassured her, quickly realising that she felt self conscious in front of them.
"We're all in our underwear anyway." Ben laughed. Chloe shot them a small smile, not entirely sure how to explain that she couldn't bring herself to undress in front of them, especially since she was still very self conscious of the scar on her abdomen.
"Ooh, you could wear the nightgown we got earlier!" Louise exclaimed excitedly, wiggling her eyebrows at Chloe.
"I think I'll pass." Chloe replied, her cheeks colouring deeply.
"It's probably for the best, I doubt Lee would be able to keep his hands off you." Louise giggled, glancing over at Ben and Peter as they play fought in the pool.
"What have I done?" Lee asked as he quickly strode into the room.
"Nothing." Louise said quickly, shooting Chloe a small wink, before swimming over to join Peter and Ben.
"What was all that about?" Lee asked Chloe as he perched beside her on the lounger. Chloe rolled her eyes and shrugged, sighing to herself as she felt another wave of fatigue wash over her.
"What took you so long to come through?" she asked him, carefully rubbing her tired eyes.
"I had to take care of something." he grinned, winking at her when she turned to glance at him. Chloe burst out laughing, her cheeks colouring as soon as she realised what he was talking about. Lee joined in with her infectious laughter, his heart pounding against his chest as he watched the woman that he adored with every fibre of his being. He still couldn't quite believe how privileged he was to get to be the one that was able to call her his fiancee.
"What are you two laughing at?" Kirstie giggled.
"Nothing." Lee said quickly. Chloe gazed up at him as he placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"You should get in the pool with them." Chloe suggested.
"It'll be fun." she continued. Lee nodded slowly, raising his eyebrow at her as he slowly removed his shirt, his eyes fixed on her. A small smile played on Chloe's lips as she gazed at his broad, toned chest. She placed her hand against his abs, sighing quietly when she felt his warmth.
"Don't, otherwise I'll have to leave the room again." he muttered, his skin tingling under Chloe's touch. Before Chloe could respond, Lee stood up and removed his jeans, and quickly jumped into the pool. As soon as he resurfaced he beamed at Chloe when he realised that he'd managed to splash her.
"You did that on purpose." Chloe giggled, when she noticed the cheeky expression on his handsome features. He wiggled his eyebrows at her, as he ran his hand through his hair, pushing it out of the way. Chloe bit her lip, trying to ignore how handsome he looked.
