Chloe sighed happily and smiled to herself as she slowly opened her eyes. She quickly pulled down the sleeves of Lee's hoodie and wrapped her arms around the pillow, hugging it tightly against herself. She stretched slowly, her heart pounding against her chest when she felt the familiar fluttering sensation in her abdomen. Despite the fact that she'd been able to feel her baby moving inside her for some time, she still couldn't quite believe that she was carrying a tiny baby. She turned over in bed, hoping to tell Lee that their baby was moving once again, frowning to herself when she suddenly realised that Lee was no longer beside her. She carefully sat up and picked up her phone from the nightstand, gasping when she realised that it was almost noon. Chloe quickly climbed out of bed and ran a hairbrush through her hair, smiling slightly when she glanced at herself in the mirror, wearing Lee's new hoodie. She quickly walked into the bathroom, smiling to herself when Lee glanced up at her from the bath tub. Her breath caught in her throat as she gazed in wonder at him, the small droplets of water dripping off his hair. Lee couldn't help but stare at Chloe as she casually leant against the doorframe, her eyes fixed on him. He smiled slightly as she stood in his hoodie, her beauty still radiating from her despite the baggy material. His gaze wandered to the edge of the material that stopped in the middle of her thighs.
"Why did you let me lie in for so long?" she asked, suddenly feeling slightly guilty that she had wasted so much of their time by sleeping.
"Because you looked so peaceful." he smiled at her, his heart pounding against his chest when he remembered how Chloe had fallen asleep almost as soon as he'd made love to her.
"And I know the pregnancy has been making you really tired so I want to make sure that you are getting enough rest." he added. Chloe nodded slowly, her eyes flickering to the bath water as she watched the steam rising out of the bath, suddenly feeling an intense urge to climb into the bath with him. As soon as the two of them locked eyes, Lee raised his eyebrow at her, realising instantly what she was thinking. Before she could talk herself out of it she slowly removed Lee's hoodie, smiling slightly when she locked eyes with him and noticed his eyes wandering over her body. She glanced down at her underwear, suddenly deciding that she felt more comfortable leaving it on. Chloe carefully climbed into the bath, sighing in contentment as she sat between Lee's legs and gently laid her back against his chest. Her skin tingled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and held her tightly, cherishing the feel of her body against his. He smiled down at Chloe, placing a soft kiss on her cheek as she snuggled her head against his collarbone.
"Why are you still wearing your underwear?" he asked softly, gazing down at her and frowning to himself. Chloe shrugged, closing her eyes softly as she relaxed against him, smiling slightly when she felt his soft heartbeat against her back.
"What were you saying last night about feeling gross?" he asked, gently placing a series of soft kisses on her neck.
"It's nothing." she whispered, turning her head and resting her cheek against his, her skin tingling as he continued placing soft kisses on her neck.
"Chlo." he mumbled against her neck.
"It's just one person's opinion anyway." she said quietly, trying to convince herself almost as much as him.
"I've never had much body confidence anyway, so it just confirmed what I was already thinking." she continued, glancing down at Lee's hands as he placed them on her bump, gently stroking the baby with his fingertips.
"You are not gross Chlo and you never have been." he told her firmly, his heart breaking a little at her lack of confidence.
"I know that you don't think that." she said quietly, smiling slightly when she remembered how desperately he wanted her. Lee nodded slowly, his gaze wandering to his hands when Chloe linked their hands, the two of them affectionatly stroking her bump.
