Chapter 13: Sunny day

Yamaguchi pov:

It was quite sunny and warm and all of the cherry trees were swaying in the wind outside but I was stuck inside a classroom waiting for the lesson to be over so I could enjoy the day.

Y/n was sat next to me, she was writing notes and fiddling with her pen.
Tsukki was focused, writing notes and listening to the teacher. I know he doesn't like school but he gets the best grades in the entire year group.
I get alright grades, not as good as Tsukki's but better than other people's.

The team had morning practice this morning and y/n was learning about some of the positions and techniques that we use, she also told me that she had refilled the water bottles and gotten some towels from the storage room. She seemed really happy about her new role, I'm glad that she's happy.

Time skip:

I forgot to bring lunch money, I'm not usually this forgetful but I guess something must have made me forget about it. I sat down at the table with my water bottle and read over my note from class. Then y/n came over to me.

"Tada-chan? Where's your lunch? Here have some of mine! I didn't see you in the canteen so I got some extra for you!"

"You didn't have to get this for me"

"Please accept this as a thank you for letting me copy your notes from biology."

We sat down and ate our food while we talked to the team about how practice went and that we had a practice match soon that we had to train for.

Time skip:

Once I got home after practice it was almost dark. We walked home together as usual and she seemed so happy today even though she was tired.

It was a starry sky tonight and the moon was huge, I stared out of my window until I heard movement on the roof. It was strange but I needed to see what it was. I carefully and quietly opened my window and took a look outside at what was on my roof...
