Chapter 24: Jealously

Quick note: I've made some edits to the last chapter (23) so I think that it would be a good idea to read that again first but you don't have to if you don't want to.

Yamaguchi pov:
Earlier

We got out of the bus and I thought about how much I liked it when y/n slept on me on the bus ride. It felt nice, and I felt comfortable even if it was slightly embarrassing at first.

She gripped my hand and dragged me inside. I heard someone say her name, it was that Kenma guy Hinata was talking about and a ravenette who I later found out was Akaashi. Soon the warmth from her hand disappeared and she hugged the two other boys smiling genuinely, I love that beautiful smile of hers.... what am I thinking! I don't like her like that! Do I?

She seemed quite friendly with the other boys, but she seemed friendliest with Kuroo, Kenma and Akaashi.

I had that strange feeling again, I didn't like how close she was with them and that she wasn't with me, but I shouldn't be worried about that it's her life, not mine. Maybe Sugawara was right, maybe I am jealous. I don't like her like that, do I?

We went into our assigned rooms, one was for coaches and teachers, one for the girls and a few for us boys. I was in a room with Kenma, Akaashi, Kageyama and Lev. I chose the futon by the window, next to Lev and we set them up. We all agreed on playing games together tomorrow night before bed, Akaashi suggested it and no one disagreed.

Everyone came back into the volleyball court to regroup with their teams. My roommates and I walked through the hallways and into the room.

I noticed y/n talking to Daichi when she noticed me on the other side of the room, she smiled and waved at me, then turned back to Daichi.

Lev tapped my shoulder, he looked down at me before asking, " Hey, Yamaguchi is it okay if I ask something?" I nodded and he continued, "Are you and that girl over there dating?" He pointed at y/n.

"Oh, y/n and I? No, we're not dating, we're just childhood friends." I was slightly unsure about why Lev asked but I guess y/n and I are quite close.

I didn't notice Akaashi behind me listening in on everything while Kenma recorded it.

I walked over to my team and we prepared for our first practice game of the camp.
