Chapter 6 : why

Y/n pov

What have I done...

Why did i yell at him...

Why am I crying so hard...

What did he do to deserve that....

I'm so stupid.

Yamaguchi POV

I couldn't focus while practicing.
Nobody could.
We were all thinking about why y/n shouted at me.

After what felt like ages practice finally finished. While we were changing we decided that we would talk about what happened at lunch tomorrow. And we did.

Time skip to when Yams got home.

I can't sleep. Memories of me and y/n playing together and growing up together came flooding back. I felt so guilty. Why did my parents have to move from Tokyo to Miyagi, why did we leave so quickly, why didn't I run and say goodbye.

Does Y/n hate me now?

Time skip to lunch break

After morning lessons I headed to the bench where the team usually sits. Everyone was there already so I sat down opposite Sugawara and next to Tsukki and Enoshita.

"Hey, Yamaguchi! We were wondering where you were!" Said Hinata from across the table.

I opened my lunch box and took out the fries my mum had packed.

"So Yamaguchi, I don't want to pressure you but we would all like to know what happened with you and y/n." Sugawara smiled.

"Well.... when I was little i used to follow people around and make friends with them but y/n was too shy to do that so our parents arranged for us to meet up at a little park." I took a deep breath and carried on "she was very timid like me so it took a while for us to start talking to each other.
But when we did we found out that we were pretty similar. We were friends for years. But one day something happened and we had to move away. I wasn't told and only my parents knew about it. I was woken up and carried down stairs by my dad who had already packed everything. I knew we were leaving but I didn't want to, I didn't know what to do so I just did as my parents said. I didn't have time to say goodbye to her. I could have ran to say goodbye but I didn't. I'm a terrible friend."

Everyone was sat still no one dared to move and it seemed like they were all holding their breath.

"Thanks for telling us Yamaguchi, we understand now." Said Daichi.

"We'll help you become friends with y/n again!" Shouted Hinata.

"Yeah!!!" Everyone shouted together.

'What have I done to deserve such great friends....'
