Chapter 10: the walk home

Y/n pov

It was a quiet walk home with Tadashi, we didn't really talk much. We were both too busy taking in what had happened just a few minutes ago.

We walked together the whole way home, we didn't realise that we lived next door to each other.
We said our goodbyes and went into our houses.

I ran to my bedroom, shut the door, flung myself on to my bed and smiled. I lay there for a while just smiling and staring at the ceiling.

'Tadashi doesn't hate me!' I thought while beaming with joy.

I fell a sleep a while later still beaming and in my uniform....

Yamaguchi pov:

Me and y/n made up today! And after that we walked home together. It was a quiet and peaceful walk, we didn't talk much, we tried to but it was a little awkward and we were both trying to process what had just happened.

We found out that we live right next door to each other, what a pleasant surprise!

When she went inside her house I went into mine. My mum wasn't at home when I got there so I got some fries from the kitchen and headed to my room. I sat on my bed eating the fries while going over the events of today in my mind and writing in my diary.

I really missed her. It's been years since we saw each other and now we go to the same school! I need to tell Sugawara that his advice really helped.

Then I got a message:

Hi tada-chan! Its y/n, I didn't get your number earlier so I got it from Hinata. I hope you are ok!
