Chapter 12: Manager?

Hinata pov:

I'm really happy that y/n was back, she even bought chocolates for the team! We all missed her even though we barely knew her.

She was smiling as she sat with her bento box and juice. Yamaguchi and y/n seem very close now that they are friends again; they always walk to school and back together.

I told Sugawara about my idea for her to replace Kiyoko as manager when the 3rd years leave, he really liked the idea so when she came to practice with Yamaguchi we asked her and she said yes!

Yamaguchi pov:

When I walked in to the hall for practice I noticed Hinata, Kiyoko, Sugawara and Daichi talking but once they saw us they split up and told us to sit down. Y/n was talking with Kiyoko and Daichi they were smiling and laughing, it made me feel this strange feeling.. like I wanted to make her laugh and smile... why do I feel like this?

Y/n pov:

I was asked to be the new manager once Kiyoko had left, of course I said yes! I'm gonna train to be the best manager I can be!

I went and sat down next to Kiyoko on the bench as she told me a bit on what  I would be learning from her.
I'm excited and I can't believe that this was Hinata's idea!

The team sat in a circle, Ukai and Takeda-sensei had agreed with Hinata's idea and were informing the team.

Once they had been told I noticed Tada-chan looked shocked, but before I could smile at him I heard two voices...

"We have another pretty manager Noya!"
"We're so lucky Tanaka!"
The two voices were being pulled off me by the captain and vice captain.

The team practiced for hours and hours until it was dark and everyone was tired. Tadashi and I walked home together, the wind was cool and refreshing. Tada-chan and I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere around us. It was quiet and calm.

"Y/n-chan, I'm glad that you're our new manager. The team was getting worried that we wouldn't find one, thank you."

"It was Hinata's idea!" I admitted smiling.

"Thank you Hinata."
