Chapter 8: talk to me

Y/n pov:

I know that Hinata needs to know my half of the story but I hate myself because of what happened back then.

Yamaguchi pov:

I needed to tell Suga about something so I was walking to the bench he was sat at.

"Um.. Sugawara-San, may I talk to you about something. I-i need to make sure that no one else knows for now."

"Oh ok Yamaguchi! I'd be happy to listen! What is it?"

"Its y/n."

I sat down next to him.

"Is everything okay with you two?"

"Well.... not really, Sugawara-San.
I'm worried for her... she and I probably have two different stories and she probably blames herself for it. She's always been like that.
I don't know what to do?"

"It's ok Yamaguchi. I don't know her that well, but I know that you feel the same. Maybe you should talk to her later."

"Thank you Sugawara-senpai!" I said before walking up to my next class.

After my fourth lesson it was time for lunch, I went outside to the bench the volleyball club usually sits at. Everyone was there before me as usual. I sat next to Sugawara and Tsukki, opposite Nishinoya.

"Hey Yamaguchi! Did you get to talk to y/n?"

"No, Sugawara-San. She ran out of the classroom as soon as we were dismissed. I couldn't catch up."

"Its ok Yamaguchi!! We'll get y/n to talk to you somehow!!" Shouted Hinata.

I-i I just want her to talk to me...

Once my final lesson had finally finished I shoved my stuff in my bag so I could catch up with y/n who had already left the classroom.

I speed walked down the stairs so the hall monitor couldn't give me a detention for running in the halls.

Once I was outside the gates I saw her walking alone and I ran to her.

No one was around because we were out so early, so I could talk to her..

"Y/n!!" I shouted to her.

She turned around, shocked, but then kept walking.

I ran up to her and grabbed her sleeve loosely.

"Y/N!! Please! Talk to me!!"
