chapter 1: i promise

"I promise."

Y/n pov

That was the last thing he ever said to me. I haven't seen or heard from him for years and unfortunately I don't think I ever will. Every day I stare at the photo of us together, we were only young but we had an unbreakable bond... well, until one day.

"Where are you, Tada-chan? I miss you!" I say as I place the frame on my bedside table before flopping on my bed and falling asleep.

Time skip 1:
6:30 am

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and felt my hand around the table before shutting off my alarm and rolling out of bed. Then I remembered...
"Its my first day at Karasuno!" I shout struggling out of my crow onesie and into my new uniform.

Time skip 2:
I got to school just in time.

I filled in the forms I needed to and headed through the hallways to 1st year, class 4.
I waited patiently in front of the door for the teacher to call me in. I was really excited but even more nervous. The teacher called me in, I took a deep breath and opened the door... that's when my nerves got the best of me.

I walked in staring at my feet, the fear had consumed my excitement. Everyone was staring at me and I didn't feel comfortable with that much attention.

"Attention class! This is your new class mate, please make her feel welcome." The teacher said standing at her desk and signalling that it was my turn to speak.

"M-Morning.  I-um-i'm  (l-l-l/n) (y-y/n). N...n-n-nice to m-m-meet y-you." I stutter not taking my eyes off my feet.

"Thank you (y/n), now please go and sit in your seat. We will rearrange the seating plan later on in the week." My teacher pointed to my seat and I sat down.

The only time I looked up from my desk was when I was asked a question.

Time skip 3:

Once the bell had rung everyone ran out of class to get to break. I packed my things up so it didn't look like I waited until everyone had left and then followed them from a distance to the field.

I walked over to and empty bench away from everyone else and started to drink my grape juice, by myself.(we just casually drinking Mineta)

I'm used to being by myself, I'm not really a people person and I've always been like that. But every thing changed when I met Tadashi Yamaguchi. We were only little when we first met, but I remember everything.
I wonder if he remembers it then...?

I wonder if he remembers... me...?
