Chapter 17: Wake up y/n

𝙝𝙞 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙤 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙤 𝙞 𝙬𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙪𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝, 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮! 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙛 𝙞 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙧 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨!

Y/n pov:

My eyes slowly opened revealing a white roof and ceiling lights. I instantly realized where I was and sat up.

"Tada-chan?" I said

"Y/n! Are you ok?" Asked the comforting voice of not Tadashi but Sugawara.

I nodded before taking in the last of my surroundings and noticing Daichi was sat at the end of the bed with Suga.

Daichi began speaking:
"I'm glad that you're okay y/n, it's good to see that you're alive and with us. And I think I should tell you that the whole team were worried about you especially Yamaguchi. He visited you every day after practice, no matter how late it was. And we've been worried about him, he seemed so off without you."

"He just went outside to get drinks and new flowers for the vase next to you." Sugawara added "He'll be back in a few minutes."

You looked at the flowers on the table by your side and thought about what to do. That's when you had a great idea.

"Daichi-San, Sugawara-San? Could you help me with something for Tada-chan? I want to pretend that I didn't wake up just now so he thinks that I woke up while he's here. It'll make him happy!" I said smiling as my senpai's agreed.

"We'll be back in a while y/n-chan, have fun." They smiled before leaving the room to find Tadashi.

Time Skip!

Yamaguchi pov:

I was just on the way back to y/n's room when I saw Sugawara and Daichi talking about something and leaving the room my best friend was in. I couldn't hear anything they said to each other.

They saw me and waved before heading to the hospital cafe.

I placed  the items I was carrying on to the floor by my feet before i sanitized my  hands, picked up my things, opened the door with my foot and walked in.

She was still sleeping peacefully, I couldn't help but smile.
I sat on the seat next to her bed and replaced last weeks flowers with the new ones I had just bought before turning back to y/n.

I held her hand and rubbed my thumb in circles against  her soft skin. Tears emerged from my eyes and down my cheeks.

Suddenly I heard a familiar voice say my name and felt the girl move slightly.

"Y/n!"
"T-tada-chan!" She smiled sitting up slowly.

"I'm so glad that you're ok, I missed you so much y/n-chan." I said hugging her and beaming at the fact that she was alive.

"Tadashi, what happened, why am I in the hospital?" She asked me as I let go of her. I didn't intend on crying but I couldn't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks.

"Y-you were hit by a van t-trying to protect m-me. You were b-bought here and the doctors told us that you were in a c-c-coma. S-sugawara and Daichi-San have bought me here every day a-after practice so I could see you.
We've all been really worried about you, we thought that you were a gonner b-but you're alright now and I'm happy to see you again." I explained and she listened trying to remember.

"O-ok Tada-chan! I'm happy to be here! Please don't cry, I'm here now." She smiled and hugged my crying figure.

Before anything else could be said the door opened revealing the rest of the team. When they saw an awake y/n and a crying me they approached as we broke the hug. I wiped away the tears and watched the team as they talked to her and each other.

I'm so glad that she's alright. But I feel this strange feeling when ever she's not with me or when she talks to the others. What is this feeling?
