I promise (Yamaguchi Tadashi x reader)

Chapter 4 : dear diary

Tadashi pov:

Dear diary,
I don't really know how to describe what happened today. It was so happy yet so sad as well as confusing.

The day started off as normal, nothing new at home. When I got to school everything was normal at first, but not for very long.

The teacher started talking about that 'the new student is here today', she started to introduce her and then told her to come in.

She walked in staring at her feet before stuttering. She seemed pretty shy like me but she seemed strangely familiar.

At break she was sat at a bench by herself, far away from everyone else.
I wanted to go sit with her but Tsukki said it wasn't worth it and she probably wouldn't say a word. I guess he's right.

I made sure that we sat at a table where I could see her but still keep a distance. Once I had sat down I looked over to where she was sat. She was sitting with someone, someone familiar, someone called....
'HINATA?!' I thought.

I couldn't believe she was talking to him of all people! I thought she was introverted but maybe my judgement was wrong. I was feeling kind of jealous but I don't know why I felt that way.

Before I walked into class I saw her talking to Hinata again but then she whispered something in his ear. I wonder what she said and why he looked so shocked and confused?

The rest of school went by pretty fast so I'll write a few things: (y/n) was sat talking to Hinata again at lunch, I got 40/45 on the math assignment and I had my favourite food (floppy fries) for lunch.

Soon enough it was time for volleyball practice and Hinata had brought (y/n) with him.

She introduced herself just like she did this morning but she was still  stuttering this time.

Everyone started talking and i started talking to Tsukki.
"Tsukki, she's that new girl in our class right?"
"Yeah, isn't it obvious. Maybe we'll finally see her face now, Tadashi?" Tsukki scoffed.

Then someone said something and everyone went silent... it was (y/n).
"Tadashi?!" She said looking up and then at me letting everyone see her face for the first time.

It was then that I finally worked out who it was. I went up to hug her, I hadn't seen her for years and I was glad that fate bought us together again but she pushed me away, the words she said next surprised everyone, even me.

"You-you left me! You knew you were my only friend, you knew that I needed you, so why did you leave!? You didn't even bother to say goodbye or even at least tell me you were leaving! Tadashi... Why would you do this! You think after all of that you can just hug me and everything will suddenly be better?! Well it won't! You broke my heart, you-you disappeared! I thought you were dead! You broke me into a hundred thousand pieces and then left me! Well done... Tada-chan..."
She shouted most of it tears streaming down her cheeks. I shouted for her to come back but she didn't. I fell to my knees and everyone around me stood silently in shock trying to take in what just happened.

Oh diary, what have I done....
