✯ Not a chapter, Q & A! ✯

Idk how many people actually read these kinds of chapters but some people have messaged me if I was going to do one, and I thought why the hell not. Figured I can sneak in some Meet the Author kind of things here too lol.

✿ How long have you been writing?
- Literally since the start of quarantine in my country which is around March 2020. I've had a few story ideas stuck in the drafts from 2019 that I just left there. So this is my first serious book.
 I always wanted to write a book but it's kinda hard for me because I have some mental problems that hinder me from long term commitments. So this book even reaching these many chapters is such an achievement for me! (which is also why my writing style tends to change a bit over time, I'm still an amateur haha). 

✿ Where are you from?
- I'm from the Philippines, born and raised UwU

✿ How old are you?
- I'm 16 turning 17 this April 2021

✿ Is your name really Rosa?
- That's a secret!

✿ Does the chapter names have any significance to the story?
- Sumire means violet in Japanese, and her family business is a flower shop so... The chapter names are different kinds of violet flowers, that's it really some sort of Easter egg I guess?

✿ Do you already have a plan on how the book will go?
- Honestly no. In the beginning I had a completely different personality for Sumire. Sort of cold and distant. But then I gradually changed it to a more warm person with a bit of complications(?). And it also slowly changed the whole rough outline I had. I just thought there's so much fanfics out there where the OC has some extremes in their backstory and history and it's kinda heavy for my taste. (But I might explore that alley in the future!) 

✿ Have you decided on who Sumire will end up with?
- Yes. Kyoya. I love the dude. Of course there'll be drama but basically the whole pair is Sumire and Kyoya. I'm not saying they'll see it through the end but...i'm joking! Unless... *wink wink*

✿ Why did you start writing this book?
- At first it was to try and explore my career options, I have no idea what I want to be in the future and I thought being a writer was pretty cool and wattpad can be my little playground to try and enhance my writing skillz. Right now though it's starting to feel more like a hobby and something I enjoy rather than something I think of as a future job. I'm not saying it's bad though, it's good to enjoy something that can be a career in the future.

✿ The story is kinda slow, do you mean to do it like that?
- Yes but also no. I don't want to bore my readers but it's a personal preference for me. I've read fanfics that purely uses the anime dialogue over and over I pretty much memorized it at my 50th Ouran fanfic. I wanted to explore the world and time outside of the club and give more attention to other things. Of course I'm following the anime storyline, but remember that the anime spans a whole school year in Japan and that's a lot of days1 (210 days according to google).
I really like showing "life" that isn't revolving around the host club. It may not look like it but that's what I'm trying to do(?) Idk y'all I still really suck at writing.

✿ Would you be writing more books in the future? Have you thought of future fanfics to write?
- Yes. They're still in the back of my head but I do plan on writing more. I really want to make a MorixOC one after this one, but Idk yet a HitachiinxOC sounds nice as well.
I figured if I got more readers I'll put up a poll of which anime and which character it would be, so I hope readers stick around for that lol. I'm a huge weeb and rn the top anime I would probably make fanfics for are Black Butler, Ouran, Akagami no Shirayukihime, Assassination Classroom and/or Attack on Titan.

✿ Why did you choose Kyoya for this fanfic?

- Because he's like, hot. And idk his character makes it very easy for me to incorporate my own character in the story because he's usually the more stand-offish, sarcastic, cold(?), shadow character but he still has his own personality under that facade.

✿ Would you be making LGBTQ fanfics?

- Ah hard question. I'm a girl and I'm bi, so I would be able to make a girlxgirl one but I also don't want to leave the gays behind : ( but who knows if I get better I'll try lol. Also, brain wave, any of y'all seen diabolik lovers? Polyarmory relationship with them sounds so good to me.

✿ Can you make holiday/special events filler specials?
- Uhhhh sure why not that's a very good idea!

✿ How often will/can you write chapters?
- I usually aim to write at least a chapter every day, or every three days if I just can't seem to finish one. I want to keep updating the story constantly both for my readers and myself to not forget about the story.

✿ Do you have anything to say to your readers that also want to make their own books?
- Hop onto the freight train and just do it. Of course it would help if you have a clear goal in mind but for me the hardest thing I overcome writing this book is starting it. 
It's a bit overwhelming when you think of all the time and effort you're gonna have to do, if your readers will like it, if you'll even finish it.
So just start writing! Do it on paper, on your phone, type it on notepad or whatever. The key is to get your creativity flowing and imagination pumping, and if you think you're a sucky writer, that's okay. Because in time you'll be a great one and you would be amazed at how far you've become <3
(Friendly advice to not burn yourself out writing or force yourself to write a chapter. Also it's completely okay to have a ton of drafts in your stories, that may never even see the light of day. Practice practice practice!)

✿ Share a fun fact?

- I have ridiculously bad memory. Like it's not normal but I haven't seen a psychiatrist or a doctor about it yet oops. 
- I have dermatographia ulticaria, its a skin condition commonly known as skin writing. It basically leaves raised welts and red marks on my skin on the slightest scratch. I've had it since 2016 but I've kinda grown to love it. I like drawing flowers and patterns on my skin!
- I crochet and cross-stitch!

✿ Would you be doing a face reveal?
- I'm not sure yet, if enough people comment that they want me to then sure why not.

Annnnd that's it I guess. I know I know, this is an excuse for me to not upload a story chapter but also it's kinda fun. I love all my readers, even the silent ones because y'all really help motivate me to keep writing and not give up : )

Also, it's my finals week for another three days so... I hope y'all wont give up and leave the book I promise I'll update constantly again after it : (
