"Go out with me."

Kyoya blinked, opening his mouth before closing it again, "Pardon?"

"Go out with me, I need to shop materials for my scrapbook," Sumire nudged Kyoya's shoulder, "I wanna get some new clothes too, there's a really nice store down in the district mall."

"Ah, I see, of course," Kyoya replied looking a bit deflated, "Whenever you wish, I shall make myself available."

"Great! We can go in an hour? I'll just go freshen up and pack up my stuff?"

A small hum of confirmation got Sumire all boosted up to get ready, hugging Kyoya for a quick second before dashing back inside.

"Kyoya-senpai," Hikaru walked over with his hands in his pockets followed by his brother, "Did Sumire just hug you?"

Kaoru narrowed his eyes playfully, "And you let her?"

"Yes, is there a problem?" Kyoya raised an eyebrow at the twins, a small tug at the hem of his shirt catching his attention, "Can I help you Honey-senpai?"

"Are you a Sumi-chan dating?" Honey tiptoed trying to see closer into Kyoya's face who remain unbothered.

"I'm afraid not."

"Oh~ do you like Sumire Kyoya-senpai?" Kaoru prodded hiding behind his brother for defense.

"Of course I do."

"What?!" everyone in the vicinity yelled, Tamaki pushing himself to the front and grabbing his best friend by the collar eyes sparkling, "What do you mean by that Kyoya?"

"Sumire is a valuable member of the host club and her skills in financing and resourcing our props have proved to be quite vital in the management of the host club."

The twins eroded away while Honey sulked lifelessly back to Mori, Tamaki facepalming, he had his hopes up pretty high.

"Kyoya..." Tamaki started giving him a knowing look, Kyoya giving him one back, an unspoken conversation of "are you serious" and "drop it".

"Hey, ready to go?" Sumire asked making her way back in a new outfit and tying her hair in a ponytail to keep out the way.

Kyoya, who had somehow changed into a black shirt and some pants  stood up and nodded leading the way back out the entrance to his waiting limo.

Opening the door like a gentleman Sumire hopped in followed closely by Kyoya, who motioned to his driver, "District mall please."

The ride was rather silent, Sumire sneaking glances every now and then towards Kyoya who was looking outside the window in a dazed state.

Poking his shoulder Sumire snapped Kyoya out of his trance, "You okay?"

"My apologies, it seems that I have something weighing on my mind as of recent," Kyoya gave a tight smile shifting to face Sumire.

"Wanna talk about it?" Sumire offered playing with the ends of her hair absentmindedly, "If you're okay with it I mean."

"If it's with you I could not be more at ease, very well I'll humor your offer," Kyoya straightened his posture giving his full attention to Sumire who nodded mimicking his stature.

"It seems I have found myself in a conundrum. You see, with numbers and statistics to an extent I am able to predict what may happen and the possible different ways a situation might turn out. No matter what it is I can almost always know what would happen, but with people it simply is not the case."
