"As my final act of apology I would like you to have this."

Kyoya pulled out a silver velvet box from his pocket and opening it. It was a silver bracelet that had small leaf pendants dangling around it with a bigger pendant in the middle that had  an engraving of a bouquet of flowers.

"Oh Kyoya, it's beautiful but I can't-"

"Nonsense," Kyoya raised a finger silencing Sumire's retort, "The whole reason of this whole debacle is that I had sold your bracelet. Granted I did go to lengths to try and buy it back from the student that bid 500 000 yen on it but unfortunately it was on it's way to New Zealand as we speak."

Sumire sighed relenting, giving her hand to Kyoya that clasped the new bracelet on her easily. Looking at the fine details Sumire couldn't help but smile.

"Come here," Sumire raised her arms up and around Kyoya pulling him in, "Thank you."

Kyoya's eyes narrowed as he stared at the empty spreadsheet before him. It was about 10 in the evening, the maids had delivered his food earlier as he wanted to do his work in alone in the confinement of his room, work that had not progressed since then.

Letting out a small groan Kyoya shut his laptop and slid it onto the table and fell face first into his sofa cushions.

If he closed his eyes and concentrated enough he could still smell Sumire and feel the warmth of the earlier events.

He was just about to fall asleep when a knock rapped through his door making him frown a little. The intruder didn't wait for an answer as the door flung open, Fuyumi striding in cheerily.

"So how'd it go?" Fuyumi flopped down beside Kyoya that fixed his glasses looking like a grumpy cat, "Did she like it?"

"I would say so, yes."

"Then why do you look so..." Fuyumi thought of a word least offensive, "Unhappy?"

Kyoya leaned back crossing his arms, "You are imagining things."

He had enlisted his sisters help anyways regarding the bracelet, presenting a few choices and  Fuyumi was horrified to see Kyoya's selections of what she called "old lady jewerly" and had Kyoya find the quickest custom jeweler and had him list down everything he knew Sumire liked and described her.

After a bout of silence Fuyumi perked up, "You should come invite her sometime, I would love to meet your lady friend!"

"Absolutely not."

"Aw, why not?"

Kyoya massaged his temples, "The last thing I want is the two most stubborn women in my life getting together."

"Oho~," Fuyumi gushed, "So she's a woman in your life?"

"Nee-san!"

Kyoya tossed his phone aside and slumped back into his pillows still sleepy. The voices of Tamaki and the twins panicking over Haruhi living in extreme poverty echoed inside of his skull rendering him unable to fall back asleep.

He had stayed up last night finishing up his work so he didn't get that much sleep, not that this was an uncommon occurrence.

With a groan he dragged himself out of bed and into the shower.

"Sumire, just how much candy did you buy?" Haruhi asked a bit concerned at the grocery bag Sumire was carrying, filled to the brim with snacks.
