Damien's POV
"Who opened the door," I questioned loudly while walking over to look out of the windows. Upon seeing Gyorgy walking rather quickly to his car, I frowned and looked into the living room where Parker sat with a deep scowl on his face.
"Park...?" Vaughn began. "What's wrong with Gyorgy?"
"He's annoying," the teenager responded without looking up from the television that he stared daggers into. "I'm done with him."
I took another glance out the window and for whatever reason it did, my heart sunk when I saw Gyorgy crying against the steering wheel of his car. "Go talk to him," Vaughn whispered. "I'm gonna talk to Parker about..."
I nodded in agreement when he trailed off, nodding towards the kitchen—the therapist we'd talked about—and then the front door—Gyorgy. With that, I walked through the house's main entrance, walked over to the twenty-six-year-old's car, and took a seat on the passenger's side.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Nothing,"
"Gyorgy...why is it that you're crying and Parker isn't? I'm not saying that I'm unhappy with his dry eyes, but usually he's the sadder person between your...disputes," I sighed, leaning back in the seat.
The twenty-six-year-old seemed to bawl a bit more after I'd mentioned Parker not crying, and it wasn't long before I'd realized that Gyorgy was in a bad situation. "Ohhh," I mumbled. "You're falling for him, huh?"
The soft brunette buried his face into his crossed arms as he cried against the steering wheel, and I hummed as I'd lifted my head, attempting to put myself in his shoes. "He turns sixteen next Saturday. Have you already asked him what he wants," I questioned.
"He said he's done with me," Gyorgy mumbled. "I thought it'd be okay to wait at least until his birthday, but he says I stress him out... Damien, I never should've came over. I never should've let him visit me. I should have moved to a different state."
"Look...I—"
"This isn't me implying in any way that I want you to persuade Parker to give me a chance! I don't want that! It's good that he's moving on from me..." Gyorgy said sternly. "I just wish I could take all the stress away. I never, never wanted to be a reason that he was upset. I wanted to prevent him from having any sort of burden, but I was and still am the only thing ever annoying him."
Yeah, maybe Parker giving up on Gyorgy is for the best...but just in case it isn't... I pulled out my phone and pulled up one of my and Vaughn's vacation homes over in Lakewood. "If you're thinking of hiding away for a while, do me a favor...and stay here," I mumbled, sending the soft brunette the address.
He sighed as he grabbed his phone out of his pocket and his eyebrows knitted together when he swiped through the pictures of the house. "You want me to stay in a mansion? How many of them do you have?"
"Just stay here for a while, okay? Quit your Safeway job and just live there. It's closer than Seattle and I'm able to keep an eye out."
