Parker's POV

I growled as Gabe parked between Casey and Gyorgy's cars, and he smacked my thigh before stepping out of his Honda Civic and waiting for me to do the same. With an exaggerated sigh, I did so, and immediately tripped and fell against my Asian friend's car as stars flooded my vision.

"Park, are you okay?!"

"I'm fine. I just need to eat something."

"Tch! 'I'm fine' my ass. What'd you eat yesterday?"

"Nothing. Didn't eat at all the day before, either. And no breakfast this morning. And I puked."

"You— You haven't eaten anything in two days and you puked?! What the hell came up?!"

"Blood and stomach acid," I chuckled. "I feel like I'm gonna puke again."

"Don't! Come on! You need to eat!" Gabe grabbed my wrist, rushed me up off the pavement lot and into the Safeway backroom, then sat me down at one of the tables before sprinting back out into the shopping center.

I sighed through my nostrils and rubbed my forehead with my palms, and in almost no time, Gabe, Casey, and Gyorgy were back in the break room, shoving food at me and scolding me for not eating anything for so long. I'm

"Parker, why haven't you been eating," Gyorgy asked as he sat across from me, handing me a plastic bowl of mixed fruit. I silently stared deep into his beautiful brown eyes for a while and then moved my gaze down to the bowl of fruit in front of me.

"Park," Gabe murmured.

I slowly moved my eyes onto him and he nodded towards Gyorgy, and I shrugged as a small smile tugged at my lips. "What?"

"Answer his question."

I scrunched my nose and shook my head as my smile grew a little bigger. "Nah."

"Then tell me," my Asian friend said, stepping over to me and opening the bowl of fruit along with a sandwich that he'd gotten me.

"Not hungry," I answered vaguely. Gabe ran his fingers through the front of my hair, lifting it out of my face, and glared into my eyes, making me laugh a bit. "What~?"

"You're always hungry. Why weren't you eating for two days?"

"Just lost my appetite. Now, I want to go to sleep. I'm gonna head out," I said simply while standing up and clapping a hand onto Gabe's shoulder. He immediately sat me back down and stuffed a corner of the turkey and Swiss sandwich into my mouth. "You're not leaving until you finish both of these sandwiches and Gyorgy's fruit."

"I'll pass on the fruit. I'm allergic to cantaloupe," I lied, sliding it away. Gabe shook his head at me as Gyorgy apologized and I pursed my lips as I shrugged. "You didn't know. I mean, how could you? We've been apart for several years and you only push me away when I call you," I said calmly.

Gyorgy looked down at the bowl of fruit and got up with it. "I-I'll get something else. Do you still like strawberries?"

"Hate 'em, actually," I answered.
