Gryffindor: Framed posters of their favourite bands and films, a colour scheme is important; but they're not against clashing, has to be large enough for people to visit, they like colourful lamps, bits and pieces to remind them of good memories, storage space for clothes and the stuff they can't be bothered to throw out.
Ravenclaw: It needs to be quiet; so that they can fill the silence with their favourite music, the feel is more important than the look, but a wall of bookshelves would still look amazing, plenty of vinyl records stacked up, and a good armchair to muse in, their own art on the wall and their own mess on the floor.
Hufflepuff: Someplace with plenty of light, small just means cosy, cacti are always appreciated, a bed with plenty of pillows and cushions; so it's extra cosy if friends come to visit, it's not about having loads of books and music; but a chosen few that they love makes if feel like home.
Slytherin: They may try to make it look all cool; but we know their bed is one of the snuggliest, enough candles to look like a séance, a good mirror, long; flowy curtains - because they look dramatic as hell and are great at blocking out unwanted sunlight, slightly kooky objects make everything look so much cooler.
