Gryffindor: When they have to, they slate out some time and tidy up a bit. They probably put stuff away and organise what's visible, but don't get put the cleaning supplies unless it's really bad.

Ravenclaw: They start cleaning and usually end up getting distracted by something they, find and not finishing. They don't know how, but things build up in any small space in their room, so they usually pick one of those spots to tackle if they get in a cleaning mood.

Hufflepuff: They clean when the space becomes too cluttered to be enjoyable anymore. They usually are able to systematically work their way through the mess, but they have a tendency to want to hang on to things they reasonably shouldn't because it could come in handy and they don't want to throw it out.

Slytherin: They don't clean all that often, but when they do, they get really into it and clean every little thing. They wipe everything down and make sure there are no smudges or marks on any surface, and they vacuum the floor thoroughly.
