Gryffindor: Orange - The color of fire, danger, and warmth. Some shades can be a little intense for some people but certainly some are soft and reassuring.
Ravenclaw: Black - The color of the secret and the unknown. It has many meanings in different cultures that have an interesting basis in history.
Hufflepuff: Medium brown - The color of age, practise, and sturdiness. It may not be the most brilliant or intense of hues but it is warm, reliable, and practical.
Slytherin: Deep violet - The color of magic, royalty, and religion, denoting the most important figured in ancient times.
