Common room scents

Gryffindor: A smooth warm smell, faint hint of mothball, cinnamon and orange and cardamom, sharp scent of burning wood.

Ravenclaw: Smells like rain, sharpness of new books, the breezy wind bringing hints from here and there, a mixture of smells from every corner of the earth.

Hufflepuff: Like an early morning spring, hint of dew, warm and earthy, grass clippings and the rich scent of dirt, hints of rosemary and basil.

Slytherin: A mix of peppermint and winter green and evergreen, sharp and cool, minty and refreshing, smell of pine forest with earthy undertones.
