"Jayne? What are you doing here?" Alexia asked.
"Hi Alexia. Where's Austin?" I asked.
"Austin? He's in school now. I think he has basketball practise." Alexia answered.
"Alright. Thank you." I continued."By the way, has Austin told you why he-"
"Yes..I'm really sorry dear. I heard about your Dad from Austin. I'm sure you miss him lots. I can't believe something this horrid would happen to you.." Alexia replied.
"I'm alright now thank you..But..what I wanted to ask..was that did informed you of him staying with me?" I asked.
"Yes. He did. He called us and said you were asleep and needed to accompany you. He also added he would tell us the full details later." Alexia said." Did something happen?"
"Nothing serious." I replied."Thanks!"
Who was I kidding? It is serious. Austin informed them beforehand.
And yet I called him that..
I walked towards his school which was Henry's too.
When I reached the hall, guys were coming out.
Carrying the ball in their arms and being really tall I could see that they were in the basketball team.
Austin was there. He had a towel around his neck and he was covered in sweat.
Like his brother, Austin plays basketball. I didn't expect that.
I ran towards him."Austin!"
Austin looked stunned to see me but quickly his face expression changed to mystery.
"Austin! Are you free now?" I asked.
"No." Austin replied, packing his bag.
"Why?" I walked closer to him.
"I have to shower." Austin answered.
"I'll wait for you then." I said.
He didn't say anything. He took his bag and walked to the showers.
I just waited outside for him. I didn't like this cold attitude.
But i couldn't blame him. It's normal why he would be this way.
Fifteen minutes passed. My mind was filled with thoughts on the choice of words I'll use.
Finally he came out. Now he wore a dark grey t-shirt with a pair of jeans matching it. His wet hair fell perfectly down.
"Austin." I walked towards him."Erm..I'm sorry. I really am. I was..out of control..but I don't mean it..not at all."
"So.."Austin replied awkwardly.
"So..you're not some immature kid. You're my friend." I smiled warmly."Thank you."
"I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. I'm sorry too." He said."I know it's tough then..and even now after knowing about your dad."
"It's alright.." I started walking."Let's go somewhere else."
"Where are we going?" Austin followed behind.
"We're gonna grab a bite. I don't know about you but I'm starving." I told him.
"Alright." Austin said. "How's the case going on?"
"The suspect that is the secretary is still on the run. But I'm sure..She'll be brought to justice." I answered.
"It's a woman? Oh." Austin said.
