I watched Clare as she laughed heartily with him.
This feeling in my chest I want it to stop. This suspicion in my head I wanted it to cease.
Yet it didn't.
The voices of the surroundings made no effect on me as my mind was filled with all these thoughts.
It was like watching a silent movie.
My whole body was paralyzed. Unable to move, it was there. Forzen.
There. I saw Jake walking towards me. This hidden anger burned.
"Jayne you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah yeah I am. So what's up?" I asked, forcing a smile.
"So I'll pick you up later?"
"What for?" I asked.
"Erm..you're tutoring my brother." Jake answered.
"Oh that." I laughed a fake laugh."No need to. I'll go there. I have to go to the bookstore downtown to pick up a few things so I'll head there myself."
"Al-alright." Jake replied.
I walked away from him. I can't seem to control myself.
It's not the first time I'm feeling all this.
I liked a guy in high school. But he never seemed to return those feelings.
I go all emotional when I see him with another girl.
But this time all this is happening to my boyfriend.
Who apparently returns my feelings.
What's worse is the girl that is meant to be the villian is my best friend.
Am I too naive? Too gullible?
Thinking that he'll commit?
Was I foolish enough to think that Jake was really all that perfect?
Those questions repeated itself again and again in my head.

I raised my hand to ring the doorbell. I couldn't bring myself to smile.
"Jayne dear. You're here." Alexia opened the door, greeting me with a warm smile.
"Hello Alexia." I said. My lips quivered. I couldn't smile at her.
But this isn't her fault. She isn't to be blamed.
"Oh dear. What's wrong?" Her expression changed.
"Yes yes I'm alright." I replied as I walked in."I'll just go teach Austin now. Thank you."
I'm sorry. This has nothing to do with you.
Forgive me, Alexia.
I knocked lightly on the door."Austin I'm coming in." My voice was faint.
I opened the door just to find him standing before me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing. Let's do Science for today." I said as I closed the door.
"What's wrong Jayne?" Austin asked once more.
I looked up. His green eyes were burning with concern. His voice was serious and soft.
"You wouldn't know." I replied without thinking.
"Why wouldn't I? Just because I'm younger?" Austin asked.
