When I got my driver's licence, mum and dad sold the car that held all six of us, therefore I am to drive tonight. Mino and Irene were in the car with our parents, while Yeri offered to go with me.
"Jennie?" She asks timidly.
"Yeah?" I respond, following my parent's car. They were pulling into a long driveway, with trees lining it.
"Are you sure I look ok?" She asks, tugging on her dress. I glance over at her for a second before turning back to watch were we are going.
"Yeri, you look beautiful." I tell her sincerely. She smiles slightly at me.
"You sure?"
"Of course. I couldn't lie to you." I tell her, smiling at her, pulling up behind my parents as a valet comes running over to open my door for me.
"Madame." He says, as I hand him my keys. As soon as he gets them he smiles, getting into the car and driving off to park it.
I follow Yeri to my parents, who were standing at the base of the steps that led to a huge hotel. I lift my gaze, allowing my eyes to take in every detail.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Irene says from my left. I simply nod, not taking my eyes away from the building.
"You three look absolutely stunning." My mum tells us, making me lower my gaze to her. We all smile at her before the four of us start up the steps, following Mino and my dad.
After looking at the outside of the hotel, I knew the inside was going to be lovely, however, I am still surprised walking in. It was even nicer than I thought. Marble was everywhere, giving the hotel an older, fancy feel.
Walking in we got ushered into a large room with tables set out and in the centre is a dance floor.
"Wow." Yeri breathes from my left. I knew how she felt; I could hardly believe my eyes. This place got fancier and fancier.
"I think I've died and gone to heaven." Irene says from my other side. I allow my eyes to wonder the room, taking in the decorations and the people. Like a magnet, my eyes automatically land on Jisoo, who was sitting at one of the tables off to the left side of the room. She was talking to Soojoo, her sister, while her dad stood beside them talking to some man.
"Soojoo's here." I say, without thinking. I was surprised to see her, as since she left for university she hardly ever comes home.
"Mr Kim must have demanded she came back to help his image, trying to get this client." Irene says in a disgusted tone. I hadn't taken my eyes off the two sisters and like she could sense me watching, Jisoo turns her head, eyes automatically falling on me. I can see her eyes trailing from my eyes down to the floor and back up. A smirk appears on her face, one so small that no one would notice unless you were looking carefully.
"Ok girls, I think we are sitting over here." Dad says, ushering us to the opposite side of the room to Jisoo.
"Guys, I just heard some guy say there is sticky toffee pudding for dessert!" Mino says, excitedly, practically skipping towards the table. I roll my eyes watching him. That was his favourite dessert; there was even one time he ordered three of them, while we were out for dinner.
"He is like a child sometimes." Irene says, as we walk towards the table. Once arriving I notice that there are several people already sitting at the table, leaving only six seats left for us.
Sitting down, I glance towards Jisoo's table again, seeing Soojoo and her being introduced to the man their father was talking to. Both sisters shake the man's hand, smiling politely at him. I take in the chance to let my eyes run over Jisoo's dress. I had to admit she looked good, better than usual. I see her reach up for a loose strand of hair and place it behind her ear, and I draw my eyes to her neck, where they rest. I get the sudden urge to drag her out of here, somewhere private.
