When you least expect it (Jensoo convert G!P)

Chapter 28

Later that night, Mino persuaded everyone to go out for a drive with him. Since there weren't enough seats, I offered to stay behind. The real reason to stay behind was because I was planning on going to Jisoo's as soon as they left.

I watch as they pull out of the driveway before going up to my room and grabbing my jacket. I go downstairs and pull the back door open to reveal a shocked Jisoo, her hand raised as if about to knock.

"Hey, I was just on my way over to yours," I say after a second when it is clear that neither of us know what to say.

"I saw everyone leave in the new car." She says, looking uncertain.

"Come in," I tell her, standing back so she can walk past. Once I close the door I turn so we are standing facing each other.

"I was on my over to say I was sorry. I overreacted." I say, stepping closer to her.

"I'm sorry too. I was being stupid and I shouldn't have said those things." She tells me earnestly. As soon as she says it I take the three steps needed to close the gap between us and throw my arms around her in a hug. I feel her own arms wrap around me and pull me tight against her.

"I'm sorry," I repeat against her top, allowing her to fill my senses.

"I'm sorry too." She also repeats, talking into my hair.

We stand like that for a few moments, neither of us making a move.

"Jisoo," I say, lifting my head from her chest and going to my tip toes, kissing her softly.

Once I pull back a minute later I grab her hand and pull her behind me. I walk out of the kitchen and pull her up the stairs.

I push open the door to my room and pull her in, letting go of her hand before closing the door again.

I turn around to see her taking in my room. It's only then I realise this is the first time she has been up here.

I look around as well, looking at the chair where a pile of clothes were sitting, looking at my desk where books were covering the white surface.

I pull out my phone and type a quick message to Irene.

Me: Jisoo is here tell me when you are on your way back!

Putting my phone back in my pocket, I look up to notice Jisoo watching me.

"Want to watch a movie or something?" I ask, unsure of what she was thinking.

"Sure." Is all the reply I get. I nod at her before grabbing my laptop from my desk and grabbing her hand to pull her towards the bed.

We both lie down before I open the laptop and put Netflix on. After a minute of debating, we decide on some comedy. It is as soon as I press play that I get a reply from Irene.

Irene: No problem, have fun.

As soon as I set my phone down on the bedside table, making sure it is on loud, I roll back over to Jisoo, who puts her arm under my head and pulls me to her. I wrap my arm around her abdomen and rest my head on her chest.

At that moment I feel my whole body relax, all the tension that had been in my body since study period suddenly gone. Under my head, I can feel the muscles of Jisoo relax as well.

We watch the first thirty minutes in silence with her running her hands through my hair. It is after thirty minutes that I think we both realise the movie isn't very good.

"Did Mino get asked to stay behind to talk about him becoming captain?" She asks the movie still playing in the background. I lift my head and rest my chin on her chest, so I am looking at her.
