"Hey, mandu" Jisoo says as I slip into her car outside Mr Davidson's house later. I roll my eyes at her.
"Don't start that again," I warn, putting my seatbelt on. She laughs, starting to drive towards the cafe I showed her a few weeks ago. I watch as she takes my hand, interlocking our fingers before placing them on my thigh.
I sat all day trying to decide what to do. Do I tell Jisoo that dad knows? What if I tell her and she freaks out and breaks this off, worrying her dad will find out? I asked Yeri these things, with her replying that she wouldn't do that. Yet, would she? I mean Yeri doesn't know that!
"You look like you're thinking hard about something." She comments as we drive. I shake my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I give her a small smile and squeeze her hand.
"Just thinking about these assignments," I tell her, looking out the passenger window.
She doesn't reply, letting me know that she doesn't believe me.
Walking into the cafe, we head towards the booth we now always sit at. Me sliding in first, her following. As soon as we are seated, she grabs my hand again.
"Here we go." The waitress who seems to be here constantly comes over holding two cups. "One coffee," she puts a mug in front of me, "and a coke." Putting the other in front of Jisoo. "I hope you don't mind, I just assumed that is what you wanted as it's what you two always order." She says, smiling. I look at her shocked. Sure Jisoo and I have come here a couple of times, but I was shocked she remembered our orders.
"Now what food would you two like?" She asks.
"I'll have the cheesecake," I say.
"And I will have the chocolate cake," Jisoo says.
The waitress gives us both a big smile before walking back to the counter.
"Can I ask you something?" I ask, wanting to get at least something off my mind.
"Sure." She responds, turning towards me, giving me her full attention.
"Is it true you recommend Mino to be captain?" I ask, watching her look at me shocked slightly.
"Where did you hear that?" She asks, avoiding the question.
"Mino heard it," I say, watching her look away from me and down to the table. "Well?"
"Yeah, I did." She answers, looking back up at me.
"Why?"
"I heard him mention it to Seulgi a while ago. He is good, I honestly think he would be a good captain. Plus... I knew it would make you happy." She tells me, looking embarrassed. I smile to myself, leaning forwards and kissing her softly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask, pulling back slightly.
"I didn't know what was happening between us and I thought if I told you, you would freak out." She admits, moving to close the gap between us again. Yet just as her lips are about to touch mine, the waitress sets our food down in front of us.
As soon as she leaves, neither of us move to touch our food, both just looking at each other.
"Thank you. It means the world to him... And me." I say, squeezing her hand.
"You're welcome." She says, leaning over and giving me another soft kiss. I sigh in contentment when her lips touch mine.
"Eat up, so we can get out of here." She whispers against my lips, smirking. Normally I would roll my eyes and give her a sarcastic comment, yet, I want her as much as she wants me, so I just turn and start eating my cheesecake.
