Epilogue

I am standing looking out of the hotel room door, watching as Mino comes rushing down the hallway. He is in his suit, his hair slicked back looking as if he could be on a magazine cover. He is holding a small bottle in his hand, clutching it tightly.

"Hurry up. She was supposed to be out there five minutes ago!" I say urgently, taking the bottle from him once he gets close enough.

"Seulgi is getting worried." He tells me, looking at me, waiting for me to give him reassurance.

"She will be right down. Tell her she will be there." I tell him, stepping back into the room. He looks past me before nodding once. I close the door before turning and rushing to the other side of the room, careful not to ruin my dress.

"Jennie, I can't do this," Irene says, panicking. I step around Yeri, who is trying to calm her, grabbing Irene's shoulders.

"Hey, look at me," I tell her softly. She meets my eye, letting me see the panic. "You love Seulgi. This is going to be the happiest day of your life. This is just cold feet."

She shakes her head, blinking away tears. I hand her the bottle, indicating for her to drink. She takes a deep breath before downing it in one go.

"How you feeling?" I ask after a minute, letting the alcohol get into her system.

"Better." She mumbles. I nod, glancing at Yeri, seeing her sigh with relief.

"Good, you up to going downstairs?" I ask, giving her a small smile. She takes another deep breath before nodding.

I lead her out of the room, catching our reflections. Yeri and I had our long hair in a formal half up and half down style, both in our bridesmaids dress, which were a deep purple colour, both floor length with a slim fit and a low back.

Irene was at my side, her elegant wedding dress showing off her curves. Like our dresses, hers had a low back, while her hair is fully up, showing off the lace at the top of the dress.

"You look beautiful," Dad says once we get downstairs. He is standing outside the doors that lead to the room the ceremony was being held in.

Irene gives him a small smile, taking a deep breath. I squeeze her arm, giving her a smile.

"You can do this," I say, trying to calm her. She meets my eye, nodding and standing straighter.

I walk over to Mino, taking his arm. He is the groomsman who is paired with me. He glances over my shoulder, giving Irene a reassuring smile as we get into line. In front of me, I see Yeri take the arm of Carter, a friend of Seulgi's.

I watch as the doors open and the music starts, a man standing just outside of the door, nodding towards Yeri and Carter, indicating for them to start walking. Mino and I step forwards, taking their place. I keep an eye on the man beside me out of the corner of my eye as I focus forwards, feeling a small smile overtake my face as I see the room, trying to spot the one face I always ended up looking for.

It is after Yeri and Carter have taken a few steps that the man indicates for us to go. I feel Mino walk forwards, bringing me with him. I walk up the aisle, keeping my eyes forwards, not wanting to ruin the wedding by me trying to locate Jisoo. I watch Seulgi, seeing the smile overtake her face, knowing Irene was coming. She meets my eye for a second, giving a subtle nod, which I return.

Once I get to the top, I go and stand beside Yeri on the small platform as Mino goes to stand beside Carter on the other side.

I turn around to see Irene and Dad walk up the aisle, Irene looking calmer. She gives Seulgi a beaming smile as soon as she sees her, letting me know it definitely was cold feet. Everyone in the room could see the love and happiness on her face.
