When you least expect it (Jensoo convert G!P)

Chapter 14

"You took her out driving yesterday?" Seulgi asks me the next day at lunch. I had waited on Irene at her locker to walk to the cafeteria together like I always do on Thursday's. Seulgi came over with her, both of them smiling sweetly at each other.

"Yeah, she wanted to learn," I tell her, rolling my eyes when she makes a terrified expression, "She actually did really well,"

"Really? Didn't hit any post boxes?" She turns, asking Irene.

"That was one time! Can we please forget about it?" She begs. Seulgi and I just laugh at her, knowing that we will never let her forget it.

"Never," Seulgi says, smirking down at her.

"I hate you all." She exclaims, opening the door to the cafeteria, making her way over to her table, leaving Seulgi and me behind.

"Obviously still a little sensitive about that incident," Seulgi says to me, laughing slightly, watching her walk away.

"Yeah. She was nervous yesterday, but to be honest she was actually quite good," I tell her, glancing towards Jisoo's table, remembering how patient she was with her, knowing that that was the reason she did so well.

"I better go over and calm her down," She tells me, touching my shoulder in a goodbye.

"See you," I say to her, sitting at my own table. I notice Doyeon frowning down at her phone, a clear indication her and Ben were still fighting. When Chahee notices me  she shakes her head slightly, indicating not to bring it up.

It is half way through lunch when I get a message from Jisoo.

Good Kisser: Mrs Blackthorn's room?

I look up, seeing her walking past me, towards the door. I say to the girls that I have to go to the bathroom and get something from my car so I would see them next period, getting up and following Jisoo out of the door.

I don't even get fully into the room before I feel Jisoo wrap her arms around me, pulling me closer to her, lifting me onto one of the desks.

"Hey," She breathes against my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

"Hi," I whisper back. I feel myself lean into her, resting my forehead against hers, closing my eyes, allowing her to fill my senses.

We stand like that for a minute or two, not saying anything. It is at that moment I realise how different we are with each other than in the last week. Even after the deal started, we would never have been standing like this, just being happy being this close to each other.

"Jennie?" She murmurs after a while.

"Yeah?" I murmur back before I feel her lips press lightly against mine, again making me think of how different this is, not the rough demanding kisses we have had, yet soft, lazy and like we have all the time in the world.

All of a sudden the lights go on around us, making me blink several times before my eyes adjust, allowing me to see Seulgi standing in the doorway.

"Jennie? Jisoo? Sorry, I just came in to get my hoodie, I forgot to lift it earlier..." She says awkwardly, watching as Jisoo and I separate like we had an electric shock.

"Shit," I hear Jisoo mumble.

"Seulgi, this isn't what it looks like," I exclaim, trying to think of an excuse as to why I was in here, in Jisoo's arms.

"Jennie, you don't need to explain. I'll get my hoodie later," She says, walking out of the room. I jump off the desk, following her.

"Seulgi, wait!" I shout, running to catch up with her in the empty hallway, "You can't tell anyone!"
