Chapter 11

As much as Jimin can comfort Tae, he had some special connection to Jungkook that made him want to be here instead of with Jimin.

When he walked into the darker themed room though, no one was there. It was empty of any other person.

Deciding it'd be better to wait for Jungkook, Tae layed down onto Jungkooks bed and sniffled until falling asleep for a bit.

Jungkook walked into the house after having gone on a run and up to his room.

He was tired and really just wanted to take a shower, change, maybe play some video games, and go to sleep.

Those plans changed however when he walked in and saw taehyung sleeping on his bed.

Normally he would have been curious as to what happened and asked but..dried tears were visible on the elders cheeks so Jungkook decided it best to let him sleep.

This had happened when Park Bogum broke up with Tae for his soulmate, Tae was heartbroken.

He turned to Jungkook rather than anyone else and ended up having nightly sleepovers with Jungkook for a few weeks for comfort.

As quietly as possible, Kook grabbed some clothes, a towel, and headed to the shower. He hoped that his shower wouldn't wake the other despite it being a connected bathroom to the bedroom.

To his luck, Tae slept peacefully through the whole shower.

Once finished, he stepped out of the bathroom in a red t-shirt and black shorts with wet hair then decided to quietly play games on his computer for a bit before Tae wakes.

That went on for around an hour and a half before Jungkook looked over at the sound of rustling only to see Tae rubbing his eyes and sitting up.

"Want some water?" Kook asked while getting up and pausing his game.

It took a moment for the sleepy boy to comprehend what he was being asked before nodding in response. Moments later kook returned and handed over the cold glass of water.

He waited a few minutes then sat down and decided it was best to ask what happened.

"So..you were crying. Why?" Kook asked in a soft tone.

A slight chuckle was heard from the other before he responded.

"Oh no reason. I met my soulmate and got rejected today is all." Tae said bitterly.

"I'm sorry. I know that was important to you.." Jungkook said while looking sadly at the other. He could only imagine how broken Tae must've felt after having been rejected by his soulmate.

The one thing Tae had wanted all this time, or at least as far as Jungkook knew.

Almost as if on que Taehyung broke into a sob again, trying to hide his face in his hands.

Kook quickly responded by taking him into a hug with taes face in his chest to he didn't have to hide his face.

"It's ok..if he rejected you then I'm sure he wasn't a man with his priorities straight anyhow.." Jungkook said while rubbing Taes back, encouraging Tae to let everything out.

This continued for hours before said boy got tired from crying and subsequently fell asleep on Jungkooks chest.

By then Jungkook was tired too so he layed down a bit in a way that didn't really move Tae at all, slowly dozing off.

The light was on which bothered him but he didn't want to accidentally wake the sleeping boy by getting up, he did like laying like this afterall.

He liked the close feeling he had with Tae right about now, he liked when Tae chose Jungkook for comfort, he liked when they were together.

He liked Tae. No. "Like" isnt a strong enough word for it. He loved Tae.

Pushing away any room for thinking about his love for the other, Kook Slowly but surely fell asleep despite the light.

Yoongi stopped by to check on Kook being that he hadn't answered his phone in a few hours and walked in to see the two boys fast asleep.

He watched a moment then put a cover over them and turned off the light before walking out and to his own room, making sure to text Jimin that Tae would be staying the night with Jungkook again.

It was worrying Jimin to know that Taes soulmate had rejected him like he did. He worried Tae would do something irrational in response to the rejection, so it made him feel better to know he was with Kook.
