Chapter 21

Taehyung sighed in displeasure, staring at his blackened phone screen.

He didn't have anything better to do, and Jungkook wasn't replying so he was just staring at the screen waiting for it to sing with a text response.

The past three days it's seemed Jungkook was too busy to even say hi to taehyung, it made him wonder what the other was busy doing.

Then to his surprise, his phone started ringing.

He almost too quickly answered, getting out a little "hello ?"

"Are you busy tonight ?" Jungkook asked.

"No, not at all why ?" Tae replied, smiling a boxy smile.

"Great, then I need you to dress nicely I'm gonna take you somewhere, probably around nine ?"

"Ok, where are we going ?" Taehyung asked, curiosity taking over him.

"It's a surprise." He replied, "I gotta go though I'm sorry.. bye."

And with that they hung up.

Though he was a little sad that their conversation was so short, taehyung was way excited whilst finding some 'nice' clothes to wear.

And after a few hours of getting ready and showered then waiting, jungkook finally arrived at taes front door.

Him and jimin were just sitting on the couch talking about some show they both watched, until they heard the door bell ring.

"Coming !" Taehyung yelled out as he practically ran up to the door excitedly, jimin giggling at the sight.

"Hey." He said as Tae opened the door, he held a bouquet of red roses in his hands and carried a smile on his face.

He had a black and white plain suit with an extra added plain black half skirt attached to his pants to add some sort of layer to the outfit, his hair was styled back and freshly dyed a light brown.

"For you." He as he held up the flowers for taehyung.

A red color spread across taehyungs cheeks as he took them, causing him to match the roses in color.

"Ah thanks, what's the occasion ?" He asked, giving the other a curious look.

"Kim taehyung, I'd like to ask you to go to prom with me." He said, smiling brightly at the other.

A moment of silence followed, taehyung being unsure what he meant. Jungkook however took this as taehyung being uncomfortable with the offer or a rejection.

"As a friend of course I mean if you don't wan-" he rambled, saying whatever he could think of to make the other feel better before being interrupted.

"I'd love to go to prom with you, but exactly how do you plan on doing this ?" Taehyung asked.

"Welll.. since I was on the deco crew this week and I'm their most trusted student, they've trusted me with a set of keys to the gym. Meant to be used for locking up but.. Yknow." Jungkook said, looking down at his hands nervously before looking back up at the others eyes with a smile.
