I'm going to die here, it is inevitable. I was a fool to believe David would help me, he doesn't see me as part of their pack. Do any of them see me as someone worthy of being a werewolf? It's hard to tell considering I've barely spoken to anyone, maybe deep down this wasn't mean for me. This monster is strong too strong for me, it tore open my abdomen and kept pummeling me into the ground, at the moment it's simply taking its sweet time before savoring my flesh again. I never imagined my death to be this drawn out but I guess that's what one gets when they fear dying.
I see this monster's horrible eyes staring right through me, I'm on the verge of losing consciousness but then at the last second I hear a scuffle the large wolf that was bearing down on me is now fighting someone else, judging from the howls of anguish whoever this person is fighting it must be giving it a difficult time. Forcing my eyes open only to see flashes of light but hear the snapping of bones and then complete silence as the body of this massive wolf drops right beside me headless. Who is this mysterious savior of mine? I'm about to close my eyes again as they speak to me and picks me up, their arms are powerful clearly male but this scent is familiar but I'm tired to figure out who it is and then I finally let the darkness absorb my mind.
END POV
Two days had passed since that incident and Kyle was in a very thoughtful mood, who could have sent him to die as that was the only logical explanation he could come up with. He had been thinking for a while about the whole situation and the conversation with Kendall after he had brought Daniel for medical attention.
FLASHBACK TWO DAYS AGO
With Daniel receiving treatment for his wounds after Kyle explained what had happened, Kendall took him outside the earshot of Chang and her other assistant and took Kyle to the large symbol that was plastered on the wall.

"And you're sure this was from a Hellhound?" Kyle asked.
"Yes, one large green dog, and there were two more as well one of which looked like a massive bulldog, the other was coated in red and white fur", Kendall informed him.
Kyle looked around sniffing the pawprints but it was a fruitless task as they went in all directions and the time it would take him to find out where it would lead was not in his best interests currently. He came back to the clinic as she gave Kyle her word to ensure Daniel was at school the next day as he left pondering over the symbol as well as the amulet which he had taken from Chang.
END FLASHBACK
"Mr. Whittier!", the geography teacher shouted, rousing Kyle from his deep slumber of thoughts. "While I admire you swooning off into your dreams I'd appreciate you pay attention to what I'm teaching before attempting another half-hearted discussion within my class".
"Trust me, Mr. White, out of everyone who actually pays attention in your class I am one you won't need to worry about", Kyle responded causing quite the stir in the class but the teacher continued with his lesson on the Equinox with Kyle still barely paying attention as the class continued on its course.
