CHAPTER 6 Forgive You? Never!

It was a tense situation enough so that Kyle was wary of making a move too early, he made sure he observed his enemies clearly. As far as he could tell they were all human with two he had never seen before but it was mainly Alcatraz and Jason's two siblings he was concerned about as they were most threatening but the three were poised in front of them and not making any sudden moves.

" Gotta say, Whittier, it's not surprising that you're one of them", Alcatraz stated, tossing his knife up into the air and catching it. " Your particular personality and traits are that of an abomination".

" And I here I thought the only thing that came out of your mouth was that clinical clutch rugby plays", Kyle responded as he kept his eyes trained on these individuals." So Joey, still killing poor supernaturals with little chance of surviving are you", Ellie stated as her eyes glowed clearly angry.

" Don't be so bitter Alpha Wolf, after all, you're the main prize here", Alcatraz told her. " You've killed many hunters and it's starting to piss us off".

" Sorry for the inconvenience", Ellie said sarcastically and at that moment the Andrea leveled a crossbow and fired it so fast Ellie almost didn't see it but Kyle did as he stepped in front of the arrow and a burning sensation took root in his arm.

" This dumbass took a full dose of wolfsbane to protect his alpha", Andrew said surprised.

Kyle could feel the burning still continue throughout his arm but at this point, he knew he couldn't fight them especially not knowing their capabilities, Kyle took a look at Toni noticing how vulnerable she was and didn't want to risk her life especially now that he had just gotten her back, he then turned to Jervis and noticed something odd happening, his two arms were now brittle with scales and by the looks of it they seemed to be as tough as stone probably stronger but it was his eyes that made him silently watch him but it was the changing of his eyes that went to pure orange.

A loud beeping went off on one of the unknown hunters as he stared at the monitor Kyle saw it as the perfect opportunity and as he and Jervis gave each other a look and nodded as they unleashed a barrage of flames stunning the Hunters, Kyle took this opportunity to take up Toni in his arms and a surprised Daniel and despite the pain pushed through it as he used his super-speed to run off, he didn't even take notice of anything else he just knew he had to get them away from the battle as soon as possible.

By the time Daniel recognized they had gone deep into the forest and Kyle was there with him and noticing Toni's unconscious body he almost panicked but Kyle looked at him crudely and he still it didn't seem to be doing any good.

" Now is seriously not the time for you to be losing your shit man", Kyle stated through gritted teeth.

" Easy for you to say, you seem to be more accepting of being a monster than anything else", Daniel argued and despite Kyle wanting to retort a crossbow that lodged within the tree just missing his head by inches!

Kyle saw the two hunters were after them on bikes told Daniel they needed to split up as being together would make it easier for them to track them and despite Daniel readying to argue Kyle dashed off followed by the two hunters leaving Daniel with the job of caring for the unconscious girl and decided to move from where he was and surprisingly lifted her up despite his slim appearance as he made it through the woods.

Daniel trekked along the dirt trail for a couple more minutes and despite the unnatural occurrences of the last few days and tonight he wondered if this was to be his life, he had no control over his transformation into a werewolf and he deduced that it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone who wasn't a creature of the night. His thoughts then became jumbled as an arrow fizzed past his head as he looked around and noticed the girl from earlier who had shot at Kyle, and Daniel scrambled but unsuccessfully Dodged the next arrow that lodged itself in his ankle as he screamed out in pain dropping Toni with a sudden thud as he clutched at the wound, noticing the arrow still stuck in his ankle he knew taking it out would mean that he had little chance of surviving the blood loss as the girl closed in on him but her attention was on the girl who was now rising to conscious but Daniel with a last-ditch effort of desperation managed to activate his lycanthropic eyes
