Kyle was restless throughout the night and for good reason, it was hard enough that his cousin and fellow hounds were captured and by Chang of all people it infuriated him.
He got up and sat down in his meditative stance and tried to calm his thoughts as best as possible but the words of the Alpha Wendigo knowing what he said was all too true he merely sighed. Soon enough Barghest came to his mind surprisingly calm.
"You must remain calm Kyle, being upset at the situation will render you to look hopeless, and as your spirit you are anything but", the spirit proclaimed.
Kyle was about to argue but then realized the calmness of the spirit's words.
"I just, to know they are out there and likely going through being treated like dogs is just a bunch of shit", Kyle responded. "Then there's the whole Alpha Wendigo stuff".
"I'll admit, I didn't believe he existed, but knowing he's revealed his existence means he needs you out of the picture", Barghest admitted. "However, he's a calculating individual based on his speech so we shouldn't worry about him or Sam".
"But...", Kyle started to argue but Barghest continued.
"Kyle, Sam is older and far more experience and was the protector of this town long before Lucifer ever considered making you into a Hellhound, Sally has enough experience with the Wild Hunt to have been in a few sticky situations and Amin was born in ancient Egypt, they can look after themselves" Barghest reminded him.
Kyle took the information in stride and despite his better judgment decided it was best for him to at least not worry as much about them, but one thing was for certain he needed information on Chang, and he knew exactly who to get it from.
Later That Morning (8 am Breakfast) Whittier Household
It was a pretty warm morning, and the Whittier house was buzzing, the Winter ball was 2 weeks away, and Adam seemingly had a date as per the rules of the school while outsiders were deemed welcome, heavy background checks were run to make sure they weren't from rival schools or up to no good.
"So who's the chick?", Kyle asked.
"Name's Emily, met her when I and Andrew were shopping",
Adam then showed the picture of her to which Kyle whistled.

"She's cute", he commented.
"Yeah, weird how she noticed me when she did, but I'll take it", Adam joked much to Kyle's amusement.
"Well I am glad you boys are at least excited about the event, " Arlene said, sharing some more bagels for their breakfast. 'How about you Toni, anyone asked you as yet?"
