Chapter 14 FULL CIRCLE

KENDALL's CLINIC

It was extremely early for Kendall to be arriving at the clinic, but given the fact a sentient Wendigo courtesy of Foga and Dean, she took a glance at the time seeing it was just striking 6 am and opened the doors of the clinic and began setting up for the day's work, and went to the lab section where the Wendigo was heavily sedated and still seemed to be a catatonic state. She observed that it was half transformed with it's human eye showing clearly,

"The transformation process of this creature is utterly astounding, not only does it seem this wendigo has retained recollection of it's human self but also it's healing far faster than it did from the sedative", Kendall spoke into a micro recorder. "Bones stretch past what is humanly possible, but despite their tender frame holds the density and power to smash through even the toughest of metals".

As she continued her inspections a scuffling on the outside made her aware of someone and instantly not wanting to be taken by surprise she took to the security cameras she had installed after the recent Hellhound incident. As she flicked through the footage she noticed a large blood trail leading to the outside garbage can and could see a young girl waving at the camera frantically. Kendall got out and headed to the back door seeing the young girl

"Hey what's wrong are you ok?" Kendall asked

The girl seemed to be hyperventilating and hugged her, the bit of affection while not uncommon for her she still felt a bit off put by it but allowed the hug to continue for a moment, soon after she asked her if she was hurt noticing the blood trail but realized it wasn't coming from her.

Slowly Kendall approached the garbage can and when she finally saw who the blood was coming from she was beyond alarmed.

"Kyle!" she thought frantically and desperately tried rousing him awake calling his name several times but the young girl told her that he's been going in and out of unconsciousness, then afterwards Kendall discovered the other kids that were hidden in the garbage can.

8 AM

With Chang and Alexis the assistant arriving, Kendall had briefed the two over what had occurred and while Chang worked with Kendall to get Kyle back to his optimal state as he was still recovering, Alexis meanwhile was busy entertaining the kids who after their traumatic night were in need of some normalcy.

It was then there was a knock at the door of the clinic and Alexis went to see who it was, upon opening the door she was startled and went to get Kendall and Chang who she called, the two doctor's wondering what was at the door that had shaken her so and then she realized why with three figures standing in the doorway led by a handsome ginger man with a hoodie

"Sorry for barging in like this, but we'd like to see Kyle if it wouldn't be too much trouble", he asked and Kendall obliged seeing him, Amin and Kelly step in.

"As you may have already realized we are the same hellhounds who assisted you that night, my name is Sam, this is Amin and Kelly", Sam told them as they all exchanged greetings and looked over at the operating table to see Kyle and went over to him along with Chang and Kendall while Amin and Kelly inspected the Wendigo.

As Sam took note of Kendall's explanations as well as Chang's observations Sam decided he needed to see what Kyle had saw, gently placing his hand on the boys head and instantly he began shifting through his many memories rapidly but when he finally gained to the scene of Kyle's last vision he saw the silhouette of a massive beast as it rared to attack and with that Sam jumped almost knocking into the glass but Kyle awoke startled but calmed upon seeing the familiar faces, incredibly he saw the kids were safe who hadn't noticed he was awake as yet.
