Sana's pov

"WAKE UP!" Hermione was shaking me aggressively. I really did not feel like getting up. I chose to ignore her but that was probably a horrible idea.

"Merlin Hermione your yelling woke everyone up, not just Sana." Madi looked like she just came to of the First Wizarding War.

"Very funny Madeline. Could you help me wake her up though" Hermione was always like this. If any of us are late she would practically pass away.

"No need, I'm up jeez." I entered the bathroom and looked at my reflection in the mirror.

"God, I'm a mess."

I decided to dress up today. What's the point of a first day if you can't make a grand entrance.

Just kidding. I don't know how to dress up. I should probably work on that. I haven't really bothered dressing up since my parents' death. It sort of ruined my self esteem.

I threw on a white button up shirt and a skirt. I topped it with my robe. I slightly curled my hair. I didn't put on any makeup.

"What the fuck is taking you so long in there? We are all waiting you know?" Ginny said while knocking at my door.

"Okay I'm ready sorry Gin."

We made our way to class. The halls were awfully empty. Great, we were late.

"What are you girls doing out here so early?" A familiar voice approached us.

"Early? Blaise what the fuck are you talking about, there's no one in the hall." I replied.

"Hello to you too. You guys are 30 minutes early idiot." He smacked my head jokingly. I looked at Hermione. She was awkwardly looking to the side.

"Typical." Madi sighed. She was not a morning person. It was pretty obvious really. She spends most of her nights partying and doing drugs. I mean, so did most of the people at Hogwarts. I don't think I've been to any parties lately.

Soon enough the halls started filling up. I met Pansy's eyes and walked over to her.

"Hey!" I smiled at her.

"Hi Sana!" She smiled back. People looked at us strangely. It was either the 'Gryffindor and Slytherin bond' or the whole ex girlfriends thing. I didn't mind, Pansy was great company.

"Can we walk to class, you have potions as well right?" She asked. She looked unsure, kind of like she was expecting a no. I found it silly and I couldn't help but smile to myself again.

"Of course." She sent me a grin and started heading to class. I followed behind her. I heard there was a new professor for potions as well. Slughead or something. I don't know, I wasn't paying attention to the ceremony yesterday.

We walked into the classroom to see Snape's angry expression. What happened to the slug guy?

"Well well Miss White, Miss Parkinson. A bit... late... are we?" I absolutely fucking hate the way he speaks. He hates me as well, you could say it's mutual. "Parkinson take a seat next to Mr Weasley, Miss White take a seat next to Mr McLaggen"

Ew. Cormac. He was a complete creep. I sat there awkwardly, looking at the floor. I did not intend in starting conversation with Cormac.

"Hey gorgeous"

"Fuck off." I sent him a death stare. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to chew on his pencil. Apparently he thought it was seductive. Definitely wasn't.
