- THE WEDDING

Sana's pov:

The whole household is awake. Everyone doing their best to get ready for the wedding. It serves as a distraction for everything else going on.

Honestly, I couldn't be more grateful for Bill and Fleur. Happy for them too, of course.

Me, Madi, Mine & Ginny all in the same room; looking for what to wear. Ginny pulls out a beautiful beige dress with black lace from her wardrobe, along with a blue one.

"Which one?" She asks, lifting them both. Hermione lifts her head from her book. "Relax, Ginny. The wedding is in five hours. We've got plenty of time."

Madi nods enthusiastically, yawning. "She's right. It's five in the morning. Can I go back to bed please?"

"Yeah me too, please." I join.

Ginny shakes her head. "Not a chance. It's my brother's wedding and I'm gonna make sure you three lazy arses look marvellous.

I smirk. "Who knew Ginny Weasley's forte was fashion."

"I knew." Hermione answers, giggling. "One time when I was here for the holidays, I caught Ginny cutting up Mrs Weasley's curtains and sewing them into dresses."

Ginny throws the blue dress at her face. "Shut up Hermione. That was in second year." Hermione bursts out laughing. "I know. Ron and Harry were busy discussing 'the great mass murderer Sirius Black.' I got bored, so I decided to check on your dress-making."

"It's so strange reminiscing about third year." I admit, twirling a quill in my hand. "Because of Lupin?" Madi asks. I nod.

"Yes. Thirteen year old me would never look at him the way eighteen year old me does."

I'm pretty sure I wasn't even one of the students he would remember. I mean, we barely interacted.

I passed his class, but that was all. I was never close to him the way Harry was. Perhaps that's a good thing.

This might not make sense, but Remus would never go for me if I was as close as Harry was with him in the third year.

He always talks about how I was the best decision of his life, but I know how hard it was for him to actually make it.

He's a moral man. The amount of times I've had to reassure him that I was one thousand percent on board with the relationship, and that I in no way thought that he was taking advantage of me were numerous.

It's one of the many things I admire about him. His kindness, his way with his words, all of it.

"So have we agreed that if Ginny wants to stay up she can, but other than her we can all get our asses to bed?" Madi suggests, a cheeky smile on her face.

Ginny sighs in annoyance. "N-"

"Yes. Settled. See you soon." I cut her off as I exit the room quickly. Madi is quick to follow me. Hermione stays inside to calm her down, but joins us a couple seconds later.

"I'm definitely not going to be able to fall back asleep." Hermione complains, rubbing her forehead. I laugh in agreement. "Tell me about it."

"Sounds like a you problem. I'm going to sleep until it's time for us to be downstairs. Don't wake me up earlier than that." Madi announces her requests and doesn't give us any time to respond before she runs to her room.

Me and Hermione share a glance. "Not a morning person, that one." I say.
