Desire ; Remus Lupin

Sana's Pov 

I looked at my reflection one last time and walked out of the bathroom. I was feeling pretty confident today. Hermione was waiting for me, she promised to walk me to class but the others had already gone. I asked her and everyone not to worry about the Black Lake incident. 

It wasn't really a big deal, except the fact I almost drowned. All it caused were some slight bruises around my legs, they were caused by things that live inside the Black Lake. Things I can't even describe. 

Hermione handed me my bag and made her way out. I followed her as we walked to class. Funny, all we ever seem to do is study. Last year we had all sorts of stuff, like parties, pranks, fights and secret armies, of course. 

I had defence against the dark arts with the slytherins and gryffindors first period. I usually don't mind DADA but I'm starting to actually enjoy it. Although, Lupin has been giving me pity looks ever since the day at the Black Lake. 

I haven't talked to him ever since, I wish I could explain that it's not his fault. The faculty knows about the incident as well. Harry overheard Snape arguing to Lupin about it. 

I took a seat next to Hermione. I would usually sit next to Madi, but she's with Harry. I don't mind it though, she deserves this. Madi has barely ever been in serious relationships and she deserves someone who cares for her. 

I haven't really focused on my love life lately. I mean there are so many gorgeous boys and girls at Hogwarts but it's not like I'd have a chance with anyone anyway. 

I only just realised I was zoning out when Hermione tapped my shoulder. I turned my attention to the lesson. I kept trying to focus, but I couldn't. I busy staring at Lupin, him and his hands. He was pretty attractive for a professor. 

What the fuck am I thinking. He's my professor. I brushed off the thought and cleared my throat. 

"Yes Miss White?" Lupin turned his head to face me. My cheeks were warm, I was flustered. 

"Oh, nothing Sir." I said, while rubbing the back of my neck. He nodded and continued the lesson. The fact that I find my professor attractive makes me uneasy. I shouldn't, he's my professor after all. I mean it's not ille- enough.

"Professor may I leave early? I really do not feel well."  I felt perfectly fine, confused but fine. I just needed to get out of the classroom before I embarrass myself even more. 

"You may." He nodded. I sent him a small grin and left the classroom. I entered the closest bathroom. I didn't have anything to do, and someone would catch me in the common rooms. I heard footsteps. 

"Sana?" It was a friendly voice. 

"Draco? Oh hi." I sent him a little wave. 

He took a seat on the floor, next to the sinks. He patted the floor, telling me to sit next to him. I took a seat next to him. I let my back lean against the cold walls. 

"What are you doing here? You weren't even in class today." I asked.

"I like to come here a lot, it helps me think. It's relaxing. So tell me, what's bothering you?" He looked at me. I sighed, I knew I could trust him. I mean I've known him since we were kids. But I wasn't even sure about my feelings.

"I don't know Draco, you have to promise not to spill it, I'm unsure of it myself." 

"It's okay San, I've got secrets of my own. But my best friend is more important. Even if you're a big pain in the arse."
