The Last Game - Alice in Borderland x Reader

~ 3 ~

"Where is Kuina" Usagi says as she looks around.

"She went home. She told me herself . She was sick and cold remember? So she already went home so she could make some dinner for when we got home..." Chishiya replies as he stares at the burning building.

"Well, let's go then, I'm hungry too." You say as you start walking home while the rest follows.

You take a few steps until someone starts screaming.

"IT WAS YOU WASN'T IT?!"

The four of you stop moving and you turn your head in the direction where the scream came from.

A man, around the age of 40, angrily point in your direction. He is supported by a younger girl around your age, probably his daughter or something.

The man himself can no longer stand on his right leg where a large blood stain can be seen on his pants. Probably created by a (gunshot) wound.

"I'm sorry sir, but what are you talking about" Arisu asks as the man limps closer.

But the man completely ignores Arisu and starts screaming again.

"YOU HEARTLESS, HORRIBLE, STUPID-"
"Dad, stop screaming. It is useless and takes extra energy." the girl says, interrupting the screaming man.

"What is going on?" Arisu asks again, slightly annoyed because the man ignored his first question.

"What is going on? WHAT IS GOING ON?! HE IS WHAT'S GOING ON!" the man shouts at Arisu while pointing a trembling finger in the direction of Chishiya.

"YOUR TERRIBLE FRIEND HERE KILLED MY WIFE FOR THIS STUPID GAME"

Arisus, Usagis and your eyes shoot at Chishiya, who stares at the man with is well known emotionless look.

"You did what?!" You ask while you try to process what it is happening.

But Chishiya doesn't respond. He puts his hands in the pockets of his vest and says "That's how the game works. It was her or me sir."

"You were the killer, weren't you? Usagi asks in disbelief.

Chishiya again doesn't respond. His eyes glide over the body of the man with a judging look.

"How dare you to look at me like that, you moron" the man says who is now standing right in front of Chishiya.

Chishiya raises the corner of his mouth and smirks at the man who starts yelling again.

"Why didn't you sacrifice yourself for the others. Everyone would have made it if you hadn't killed them."

"We both know that that's not true. Most of the players were too dumb to look straight ahead. They wouldn't have made it anyway."

Chishiya leans forward slightly so that his face is right in front of the man's face and he tilts his head slightly. "Plus, I will never sacrifice myself."

Tears created by anger and sadness roll down the man's cheeks. With the last bit of energy he had left, he lifts his arm up and swings his fist at Chishiya, who grabs his arm with his quick reflex. He turns the arm 360 degrees which makes the man fall on the ground and hiss in pain.

"DAD!" the girl kneels next to her father to help him up.

"Don't you dare to touch me, old rat. Be glad that spared your daughters life." Chishiya says with his eyes sharper and more intimidating then ever before.

Chishiya let's go of the man and turns around as he puts his hands back in his pockets and starts walking away.

Usagi kneels down to help the man with standing up. But the man pushes her away and says: "I don't need help from people who are friends with a killer."

He lifts himself up by his daughter's arm and together they stumble away in the other direction.

The man looks back one more time and says: "If I were you, I would remove him from your team as soon as possible. He's going to use you too. Mark my words."

And with that the two disappear into the dark city of Tokyo.

That was it for chapter 3! It was a bit shorter then the other two but I hope you guys enjoyed reading it! - Iris
