Before the chapter starts, I want to quickly thank you al for the 8 thousand reads and for all the amazing support. Even though I haven't updated for 2 months, the story just kept growing and you guys kept on voting and commenting. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have got new inspiration for the upcoming chapters (thanks to a really good friend of mine 😊) and I will try to work those ideas out as soon as possible.

And because I have been gone for 2 months, I wrote an XL chapter of +/- 2600 words. Enjoy ❤️

Avoiding Chishiya. That's something that you have been trying to do constantly ever since you found that note.

You sit on the other side of the table, you avoid eye contact, you always try to be in a different room in the apartment, and when there are chores that need to be done, you try to do them together with Arisu or Usagi.

And even tho you kind of hate avoiding him, especially because you started to feel like he became more comfortable and relaxed around you, you have no idea what kind of excuse you should use to explain that polaroid.

The whole 'It reminds me of the old world' idea behind that photo sounds quite cringe and stupid, so using that is not really an option. And knowing Chishiya, he will ask questions about it like: 'And why that photo?'. And to those questions, you don't have an answer either.

That stupid polaroid also comes from that one drawer that you weren't really suppose to look in. And now he knows that you did. Would he get mad? Did he lose his trust in you?

Because let's face it, you did violate his privacy.

So that's why 'avoiding Chishiya' is now the best solution. It gives you time to come up with a good excuse and answers to the questions he might ask.

Right now, the four of you are walking down the dark and empty streets of Tokyo. Chishiya is holding the flashlight and leads the way. Meanwhile, Arisu is clumsily pulling on the bandage on his leg.

Two weeks have passed since the last game and Arisu's wounds are healing quickly. He can already walk without crutches and doesn't experience that much pain from it anymore.

Usagi's wounds were declared "healed" by Chishiya yesterday. She still has a sensitive scar tho, but that pain will probably fade soon. Those two weeks of rest did them good.

But now, the "vacation" has sadly come to an end. Another phone in the phone box went off and this time it belonged to you.

Your visa expires today. Play a game, quickly!

You insisted on playing a game on your own. But after a long discussion with Arisu, he persuaded you to let them go with you.

And so everybody went out after dinner, looking for a new game and new visa days.

"Look!" you hear Usagi say. You turn your head to the left and see the iconic round sign with a red arrow on it. You all turn left and follow the arrow, which leads to a cinema entrance.
