Bright white. Everything around you is blurry and bright white. You rub your eyes and slowly the room around you becomes more visible.
A white room with white furniture. A white couch, a white planter with a white plant, a white coffee table, a white floor lamp, all white.
"Am I dreaming?" you ask yourself. You pinch yourself and feel the pain shoot through your arm. "Ouch... Apparently not..."
You get up from the couch you woke up on and start walking around the room. Opposite of the couch hangs a black and white painting of a waterfall.

It draws your attention and because of that, you don't notice that someone is coming through the door behind you.
"Good to see you again babes." you hear behind you and you recognise the voice immediately. Your eyes widen and you turn around. Kuina stands in the doorway with open arms.
With tears rolling down your cheeks, you run over to her and hug her tightly.
"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry." you keep mumbling as Kuina rubs your back. "It's alright, it's alright, calm down."
You pull back and wipe your tears from your face. "Wait a minute, if you are here, does that mean that..."
Kuina nods slowly as she rubs your upper arm. "I'm really sorry, I did everything I could but it took to long, you were suffering so much and..."
"It's fine." You interrupt her. "I already accepted it when I pressed the button, and if I'm being honest, my body hasn't felt this good in months." you say as you stretch your whole body. "Plus, I see you again after all the sh*t I have been through. I missed you."
You hug her again. Kuina then takes your hand and pulls you out of the room. You run through several streets that look exactly like the streets in Tokyo. The only thing that is different is that everything around you is white.
"Kuina, where are we? Is this heaven or something." Kuina shakes her head. "Not really. Because we all died in the Borderlands, where the conditions are not comparable to the conditions in the original world, they can't officially send us to heaven nor hell. That's why we were brought here, a sort of "in between world". We call it 'White Tokyo'." you nod as you continue running.
The two of you arrive at Shibuya Crossing where many people walk around, as if you are back in the original world. It feels nice, it give you a warm feeling. The feeling of coming back home.
Kuina drags you into a cafe where she looks around and suddenly raises her hand. "Karube! Chota! Look who's here!" Two guys turn their heads. They wave happily and tell you to join them.
You sit down and you recognise both boys instantly from the descriptions Arisu gave you. One with yellow blond hair, an Hawaiian t-shirt, a stubble and a cigarette in his hand, and the other one small, dark hair, roundish face and an office outfit.
