The tablet in front of you is not the "Please Wait..." screen, but the button screen...

It feels like your heart stops beating. You have trouble breathing and start to hyperventilate. This can't be happening. This can't be possible.

You already know what your choice is, but are you ready for that choice?

Are you ready to give your live for others? Are you ready to give up the battle at the very last game? You don't know, but you have to.

You look up and see that the security camera is directly pointed at you. You know that every move you make will be caught on camera and shown to the other players. To Arisu, to Usagi, to Chishiya.

You don't want to die while looking weak. In the end, it's your own choice right? You choose your own fate, and you have to deal with the consequences.

While sighing, you turn you head back to the tablet . Meanwhile the iron straps around your wrists click open.

You put your finger on the red button and you know that the moment you take your finger off the button, it's game over.

You let your body relax completely. This way you won't feel much pain. That's what your mother taught you. Damn you miss her.

Your relaxed body hangs forward and you feel the iron band around your neck pressing against your throat.

You take one last deep breath and then slide your finger off the button. "Keep calm, that way it won't hurt that much." You keep repeating to yourself in your head.

And then you feel the iron needle sticking into your neck. You squeeze your eyes shut as you feel the cold but burning liquid entering your body. It hurts but to keep yourself from screaming you press your teeth together.

The needle gets removed from your body after a few seconds and the iron band clicks open. You don't have much control of your body and you fall forward on the hard, stone cold ground.

Your eyes are heavy and your body is burning hot, as if you have a severe fever.

In the background you hear Mira talking: "Ah love, you have a heart of gold and have fought hard. Rest in peace..."

You feel rising anger in your body. "This bitch..." you think to yourself.

"But for the remaining players I have wonderful news. Our dear Y/N was the last player that got a chance to decide her own fate. So I want to congratulate everyone who hears this message. You, yes you are one of the 13 official survivors of the Borderlands. You fought hard, and now, you get rewarded. I wish you all bright future and don't forget to tell the police how much I liked this experience! Have fun in your old world and I hope to see you again!"

And then the entire room goes dark. You hear the door open behind you. You try to crawl towards it with all your strength, but with no succes. Your whole body burns and there is no movement at all.

You have no choice but to accept your fate and wait for death to take over. You close your eyes and relax your body on the stone floor.

Seconds and minutes pass. And suddenly you hear footsteps in the distance, at running pace, and voices calling. After listening carefully you recognise the voices.

"Y/N?! Y/N WHERE ARE YOU FOR GODSAKE?! PLEASE TELL ME YOUR STILL ALIVE?! PLEASE!!"

You can hear Usagi, Arisu and even Chishiya yelling out your name. You hear that the steps are coming closer and the door of your room slams fully open. You see a bright light, probably from a flashlight, flashing over your closed eyes.

"Y/N!" You feel yourself being pulled into someone's arms, and based on the scent of the person it's Arisu. His arms hold you tight against his chest and you can hear him sobbing softly.

"Please Y/N I can't lose you. Not after what happend. I already lost Karube and Chota. Wake up, please."

You feel two cold fingers on your neck pressing against the area between your jawline and your neck. "She still has a heartbeat. If we hurry we can bring her to a hospital outside Tokyo. Maybe they can help us." You hear Chishiya say.

You feel that your body gets lifted up in bridal style. Meanwhile everything around you start to get more and more blurry and indistinct. Before you become completely unconscious you hear Chishiya's voice say quietly:

"Please, hold on."

Omgg this was the last chapter before the end chapters! After your positive reactions to my previous question, I'm going to write two endings: A Good Ending & A "Sad" Ending. This way you can really choose your own characters fate. These chapters will be posted very soon (I'm talking about in few days) because I'm really excited to start a new book.
