FINAL CHAPTER : A True Friendship

A month has passed by but you didn't even realize the time has already aged even more as you blink your eyes in the dark. You haven't been going out that much this few months.

Right after your mother passed away, you are mostly like a real orphan now. No one to look after you and no one for you to call as your parents. Not like they've been there in all your past life's but they are still there with you in this cruel world.

Jungkook has taken a day off from everything and stayed close with you. His father has already gained his conscious, thankfully and now he's trying to get back his life together and start his way of suing the haneul's family members for all the crime they have done.

Jungkook sat silently as he stares at your side face, you are zoning out to the wild life. You stayed your eyes watching the small children running around with their friends while their parents are talking with each other under the big tree. They're having a lovely picnic there.

You wonder, what is it like to receive love from your biological parent?

"Are you okay?" Jungkook carefully tugs your hair back and you grab his hand. Looking into his curious eyes, "I am fine."

At first he didn't seem to believe your words but after he starts to compare the same words coming from your past person. This recent 'I am fine.' sounds more sincere than before.

Jungkook tighten his lips slightly before intertwining your fingers together, "I hope you're not lying to me. If you have any concerns right now, you can always talk with me. I'm here for you." Jungkook gives you an assuring smile.

You wonder again, what did you do in your past life to receive such a loyal friend. To receive such a pure love from this person. Who are you, jeon jungkook? Why are you making me fall deeper for you?

Jungkook uncross his legs, both of you pick a great day to lay down on the grass. Just for once, let yourself be surrounded by laughter's, happiness and nature. Just to let both of you feel the word, 'normal' again.

His eyes trailed to your fingers suddenly escaping his grasp, but soon his big round eyes panickily stare onto your face as you lean closer and closer towards him until both of you are inches away.

Jungkook holds his own breath, waiting for you to lean closer but instead of closing the gap, you take a good close look into his innocent eyes.

Smiling lightly when jungkook looks to his right nervously, your hands reached to cup his face. "Nervous?" You tease him. Jungkook quickly look back to your eyes and defended himself.

"For what? This? It's not like I've never kissed you before."

"Who said that I'm going to kiss you?" You flicked his forehead before laying flat on the picnic mat. Jungkook in loss words scoff. "Keep dreaming lover boy."

"Where did you learn to be this teasy, miss y/n?" Jungkook pokes your knee playfully and it made you giggle.

"From jimin. Why you ask? Is it working?" You peak to his rolling eyes, making funny face while think you are not looking at him. You never not look at him since he is your happiness.

In fact, you could never once turn your back at him cause he will always be in front of you nether less of the situation you are having.

"Surprisingly but horribly, it worked. I did had a mini heart attack when your face is close to me..." It suddenly turns into your time to receive the mini heart attack when jungkook shamelessly in public hovers over your laying body.

"...just like this." You gasp lightly when jungkook quickly leaned down to your lips but never touch it.

"Teasing is fun but making the other person wait is no fun. Right?" Jungkook looks up to your widen eyes, holding back his grin. It is so hard for him to hold back since this is you, he's talking about. He has been holding himself back for too long and now.
