Present time
No words have been spoken for almost one minute from both sides, jungkook can't feel anything. He can't think properly, he can't even breathe properly by the dark secrets he has been longing to know.
Jungkook's hand covers half of his face as he leans his elbow on his knee, looking straight towards his classmates running around with so much joy on their face while both of you are slowly turning sorrow.
"So, this is the reason? All along these years, you have the answers for what I thought our question was but instead it was always me alone who's curious about all of this. You knew..." Jungkook feels so empty, all of his body feels numb with painful truth.
Blinking his teary eyes before he looks to your quiet state. You sit with leg cross together and arms crossed across your chest. Your cheeks slowly one by one tear falls on your hand, the wind blows straight on to your face. You didn't say anything because you know jungkook needs to speaks everything out from his chest first before you could talk with him.
You understand why he's angry with you. For so long and so many times he asks you, Why? Just why are you so afraid to be with him? Just why are you so afraid with his father's opinion when you were never a person who's afraid of anything.
"Does that mean haneul..." Jungkook couldn't say the word, she's one of his plans. She uses him to get to you and he is the reason on why you were traumatized on such a young age. His father creates a monster and jungkook dated the monster's sister?
Jungkook roughly wipes his tears and sits even closer to you. Pulling your arms to face him, with strong gaze he stares into your regretful eyes, "You knew she's that bastard's sister. Why did you let me be close with her? How could you do that to yourself?"
You open your mouth to say something but only empty air comes out between your lips. Jungkook didn't let you go this time, today he knows everything and from now on there will be no secrets between you two from now and until death.
"Speak the truth." Jungkook sternly said between his gritted teeth, the hands gripping your forearms are slowly starting to hurt you. You slowly lay your hands-on top of his own and with low force you pull them off. You hold his hands together.
What should you tell him? All of your reasons are stupid and very immature, if you said I saw how she made you happy so I let you go, that will be the most horrifying answer you could ever think. You don't want jungkook to be even madder than this. But if you tell him the real truth, he will react the same way.
Jungkook's harsh breathing slows down, his anger starts to calm down when your concern and confuse soul are vividly panicking inside. He doesn't want to trigger your anxiety or your panic attacks, so he took a deep breath and starts to meditate for a second. Calming his mind again, jungkook holds your hand back before intertwining both of your fingers together.
You look up at him and see him trying his best to calm himself for you, "Look, I know I'm being so ridiculously angry right now but please y/n. No more secrets. I had enough of your secrets already. I just want you to be mine, that's all I'm asking from you."
"You have all right to be angry. I lied to you and I...I treated you so badly." You close your eyes, tired from the past years.
All the hard years of watching him begging his father to let him love you, all the memories of you watching him smiling for another girl behind your back, it feels horrible knowing he is just right there in front of you but you just can't seem to hold him to be called yours.
Jungkook's softly taps your chin. Opening your eyes, you directly see him smiling softly towards you. The breeze and the sunlight coming in between the leaves are so beautiful, this moment is beautiful.
"Your father knows haneul likes you and because he doesn't want his past to be in the news, he asks me to let her have you. That's why I stayed silent." Both of your eyes never stop admiring each other's eyes, for the first time you felt free.
You feel like you could have him. For the first time there's no such thing as a hidden secret between you and there'll be no such thing as a tall wall dividing you and him to be together. For the first time, you feel like you are his.
"That doesn't exactly answer why you dated hoseok too right?" Jungkook even though he knows you really genuinely loves him as much as he loves you but the slight jealousy in him as he sees you and hoseok together will never be forgotten. Your smile never shines so brightly like hoseok made you smile.
You look down to your intertwine fingers and with a sweet smile you look up to the blue sky and closes your eyes again. Letting you feel the warmness of the sun. Jungkook leans back to the seat and follows your actions, looking up to the sky with close eyes. The only noise both of you hear is the sound of your classmates laughing and the sound of leaves hitting each other. So calming.
You hear jungkook take a breath, "Do you still have feelings for him?" You knew he would ask you this. "I thought I already answered this question."
"You did? I don't remember asking you about hoseok before?" You chuckle at his words, hearing your soft laugh makes him smiles happily too. You turn your head to him and watches as his hair follows everywhere the wind blows them.
"You just have the brain of a goldfish, that's why you're so forgetful."
"Hey. Respect the fishes, you noob." Jungkook turns his head towards you and with playful eyes he glares at you. Jungkook awed and almost drool when he sees your eyes turns into a big smile too as you laugh. Like there's a big wind of red loves blows so strong at him and his heart beats even faster for your rare smile.
"Maybe you should respect me first." You flinch when jungkook flicks your forehead. "I'll officially respect you when you're officially a Jeon like me." You playfully punch his shoulders making both of you laugh when he dramatically falls to the ground. "Are you proposing to me, jeon?"
Jungkook's eyebrow did a full teasing wave, "Will you willingly be my wife if I ask you to be?"
"Maybe?" You playfully roll your eyes away from looking at him, trying to stop him from seeing your ears slowly turning into shy red.
Jungkook gets up from the ground and sits even closer to you and drops his hands around your shoulders. As result, it makes you lean back to his warm chest and him leaning his head on top of yours.
"My answer for my question beautiful?" You don't know what kind of joy your feeling in your heart, your stomach, your brain, and everywhere! Every part of your body are tingling with happiness? You were always happy before but why is it so different today?
You peek up to his calm face before turning to the field again with your crush, "I do know that I love you even more now."
"That's not what I was expecting but I can help you with that after this. At my house." Jungkook whispers the last three words, with a teasing breathless voice earning him a small slap from you.
"We'll have a deeper conversation there too." Jungkook nods his head and using his free hand, he holds your hands again. He will not let you go again. You will forever be his and he will forever be yours.
This friendship will be forever.
This love will always be forever too.
"Just so you know, I love you too." You couldn't help but to smile so big, even by biting your lips you couldn't stop your lips to grin so big and your cheeks are burning so hot from shyness.
Who could've thought, the park y/n could blush so hard for a simple confession?
You are happy as he is happy with you too.
