Part 36 : I Was Overdosed

Rubbing the numb skin again, jungkook looks up and sees an open door letting him see straight to your open door too. "Fuck."

Jungkook's pain is nothing to what he had in mind right now. The thought of jaesoo nearing you or you being all alone with a stranger is the most terrifying thought for him. His mind is full with you and he just hope god will forgive all his sins and listen to his prayer this time.

"Please, let her be fine." Jungkook said to himself. His legs hurriedly run to your room and you could hear jungkook's shoes screeching on the floor, stopping himself abruptly before your door.

You look up from hoseok's warm hug to jungkook's concern eyes. His eyes lands perfectly to your scared, wet face before his eyes painfully shows how heartbroken he was when he sees the state you are.

"Y/n." Hoseok hears jungkook's chocking voice and his anger was too high. He feels like all his blood rush into his eyes, until he could only think the only way to punish jungkook is with using his fist.

"Hoseok!" You screamed when hoseok pushes jungkook's shoulders before giving him a swing straight to his jaw. Your widen eyes stare to jungkook's body falling to the ground helplessly, never once he push up his hand to defend himself cause he felt like he deserves this beating.

"Hoseok, please. I... I'm still scared with what just happened. So please, stop." You beg hoseok to stop fighting again but with a softer tone than the one you beg him with fear for jaesoo.

Hoseok pointed his finger angrily to jungkook's busted face, "Why did you leave her alone? You and I fucking knew he will always be here! He will catch her if you leave her alone!"

Hoseok almost toss himself to jungkook again but he closes his eyes tightly, his vein on his arm looks like they're almost pop out by the way he tightens his fist so hard. Stopping himself from making a scene for your own good.

Hoseok gives jungkook's broken hearted face a last glare before going to you, making sure your body is fully covered with his shirt and jacket. You let hoseok carries you, bridal way up.

"I'll send her home. You just make sure the boys take care of jaesoo for good here, okay?" Hoseok silently tell him in other words, to not follow them and give you your time alone without him being there.

'I'm sorry.' Jungkook couldn't utter a single word but only a single nod to hoseok and with his eyes he follows both hoseok and you in his arm out the dark room. "I'm so sorry, y/n." Jungkook finally lets himself cry on the floor with shirt half buttoned and he just notice his jeans are unbuttoned too.

Even if there was a sexual harassed did happen to him, he only could think of the terrifying imaginations of you screaming for his help. "Why did I leave her alone?!" Jungkook frustratedly hit himself on the head hard.

His heart bleeds open only by seeing your red teary eyes looking helplessly into his eyes, the eyes that promised you the same night that he will protect you from any danger.

The eyes that told you to believe in him cause he will be there to protect you.

His eyes are the eyes who stare to you with confused eyes, not knowing what just happen to her but know in that moment he had failed his job as her own knight of the night.

Jimin rush upstairs after hearing a male scream multiple time. Jimin kicks the half-closed door open with taehyung following close behind and he sees jungkook throwing a chair to a mirror.

"Jungkook!" Jimin's eyes almost shot out when jungkook runs to the shattered glasses and tries to grip them for a very obvious self-reason. Taehyung helps jimin from behind and holds jungkook's body by his shoulders while jimin kicks all the glasses away from his reach.

"Are you crazy man?! How could you dare think like that?! Don't you think of anyone else before you do something like this?!" Jimin angrily shouted straight to jungkook's blank face, he just couldn't keep this full guilt heart anymore. The feeling is too heavy until he could feel all the food, he ate today could come up instantly.

He couldn't handle remembering your broken eyes again and again, he couldn't handle that thought of him going to be around you only to be remembering how careless he was with the promise he made with you. How foolish he was thinking he would be the hero in your life when reality is he couldn't be anyone's hero at all.

Jimin slap the hell out of jungkook's messed up head, jungkook blinks multiple times before his conscious finally comes together again and look up to both taehyung and jimin's angry faces.

"What happened?"

"You almost leave us!" Taehyung said before pulling him into the biggest and tightens and warmest hug he had ever felt. Jimin sit besides both of them, "Jungkook, don't ever take this choice in life. Even when you feel like this will be the easiest way to run but please know there's a much better path to choose." Jimin wisely speaks before entering the two friend's warm hug too.

"I feel so guilty." Jungkook whispers by taehyung's chest. Taehyung and jimin looks into each other's eyes and with sorrow face they let jungkook hug taehyung even tighter with his sob fill the silent room.

"I shouldn't have left the room." Jungkook continues to sob but at the moment he remembers the last thing he sees is a very familiar smile looking down at his passing out state.

After a few minutes past, finally jungkook clams down and the three of them sits in circle, waiting for the right time to start asking jungkook questions.

Jimin plays with the rings he wears before he starts opening his mouth, "Why did even leave the room? Like, I don't understand. I know you, jungkook and I know you would never leave her alone like that especially knowing about the stalker shits and all. So why? Why did you do that?"

Jimin honestly feel so angry with jungkook as much as hoseok is cause he always sees you as his little sister and to listen and to see you being on the floor almost all body exposed with a busted face bastard on the floor just boils his anger like an explosive volcano.

"I heard a scream from outside. I thought someone was being murdered or being..." Jungkook's lips couldn't speak the word r*pe without thinking of you. He feel disgusted with the man and he feel so guilty with you and hurt by himself for even letting jaesoo get a hold of you.

Taehyung sees jungkook's having a hard time explaining so he took jungkook's hand in his before nodding his head as a sign he is here for him. "I thought locking the door could stop anyone from coming in but I forgot how clever jaesoo could be sometimes."

"That is not smart at all. Plus, that thing. Even babies could think that jaesoo could've had a spare key of this fucking house!" Jimin suddenly lets his emotions cover himself and throws all the shades towards an already guilt tank full emotion jungkook.

Taehyung holds his hand up to jimin's face, making jimin notice he is getting over board with his emotions, "I'm sorry but I really didn't think it through at all." Jungkook apologize again and this time taehyung urge jungkook to just continue his story.

"Why didn't you help y/n? You were just outside her room, why couldn't you stop jaesoo from touching her?" Taehyung calmly asks and both of the older friend stares at jungkook's eyebrow scrunch in confusion. His eyes look lost for a long time.

"What really happened jungkook?" taehyung asks again and this time jungkook looks up with truthful eyes.

"Someone suddenly grabs me and then I felt a needle pushed into my shoulder." Jimin and taehyung looks genuinely concern, knowing by this information there's another person involve in this mess too.

"Someone overdosed me until I passed out. That's why I couldn't help y/n. "
