jeonghan whined as he sweated violently and was so cold he could barely move, he was on the verge of tears, it had only been four days since he had decided to stay sober and was already in a terrible state

it was 2:00am, but as soon as he heard the other whine in pain, jisoo woke up and walked over to his bed "nauseas again?" he asked with a sore throat since he had been asleep very peacefully

the older couldn't even respond so he just hummed "mmhm" meaning 'yes'

the younger stood up trying to wake himself up completely and walked over to get a bin and bring it over to jeonghan

the older just whined again and whispered "cold"

jisoo shook his head "i'm sorry, that light sheet is all i can give to you, you're burning up" he said as he touched his forehead

he just earned a couple of whimpers as a response and frowned at seeing the other suffering so much "i'm sorry" he said and patted his head

jeonghan felt a tear roll down his eyes, something that had only happened once in the other's presence and they were having sex so he didn't really consider it to count, something that hadn't happened in years when he was alone, but this time it was because of pain so he didn't count it either

jisoo turned on the light from the nightstand in between their beds and realized the tear so he just frowned again and wiped it with his shirt "it's okay" he said

"and here i was thinking i didn't even have an addiction" he giggled only to groan in pain and shake slightly

the other giggled too and wiped his runny nose with a tissue making him sniff "i feel like a baby" he said making the younger chuckle

"well, i've never been prouder of a baby" jisoo admitted

jeonghan was about to reply but instead gagged and grabbed the can that jisoo had handed to him, however, he didn't vomit, just spit and coughed in pain

the younger patted his back and rubbed it reassuringly "it's okay" he said

the older cried as he groaned and finished coughing only to lie down again suddenly feeling annoyed jisoo was being so nice and taking care of him when he should be asleep to go to work tomorrow

"just go to sleep shua, i'm fine" he said with an annoyed tone and rolled his eyes not being able to control himself

"what?" the other blinked a couple of times a little taken aback

"just sleep, i don't need you right now and you have to work in the morning, i'm okay, don't even play hero right now" jeonghan continued and furrowed his eyebrows

jisoo frowned and couldn't help but feel a little hurt until he remembered "oh, the mood swings" he said out loud but not directly to jeonghan

he remembered that when the other had told him he wanted to go clean, he had investigated drug withdrawal symptoms, mood swings was said to be one of the most predominant symptoms on weed withdrawal although jeonghan also did mushrooms occassionally

"what?" the older asked and tried to sit up but only felt his world shake making him lift his arms beside him for balance

"it's one of the symptoms, mood swings and irritability, so i won't take it personal, i know this is just a symptom" jisoo explained

jeonghan furrowed his eyebrows and looked at him straight into the eyes knowing he was right "you're wrong, this has nothing to do with withdrawal, you're just annoying the shit out of me right now" he said

the younger chuckled slightly and clicked his tongue before sighing "fine, i'll leave you alone if that's what you want, i was just worried about you and know it must be hard, especially because i know drugs have been in your life for a really long time and that this wasn't an easy decision for you" he said seriously

jeonghan said nothing and just turned away suddenly feeling guilty but still unable to control his feelings

"don't look guilty now, i know that you don't mean what you're saying right now, i'll just pretend you didn't say it because i know that's not how you feel" jisoo chuckled and stood up to leave when jeonghan suddenly grabbed his wrist "please don't leave me alone" he said with begging eyes

the younger sighed and chuckled tiredly "okay, i won't leave you alone, but i think you should just sleep right now, i know it's hard, but at least try"

the other hummed and then groaned feeling his head ache only to feel another mood swing making him look down at his crotch "let's have sex" he said

jisoo snorted "these mood swings are really something else" he chuckled "but we can't, you might be sober right now, but you're not in your right mind, it's almost as if you under the influence, it wouldn't be correct, although i am pretty horny because it's been like four days i think and for a hypersexual person like us that's not a pretty number, but yeah, we can't have sex until all these withdrawal symptoms are over" he giggled

jeonghan whined and nodded "whatever" he sulked and got chills making him shiver only to gag again in pain
